I regularly hit 10 to 15 pawnshops in the Austin area every week or two. This one I just happen to stop by on the way home today, got lucky. Didn't actually make any round To the other shops.

I'm not sure. Do they have a serial number registry for Epiphone ?

I'd look at the pot codes, but as you probably are aware, hollow body basses are kind of a pain in the butt to pull pots on.

Never seen a bass that was priced right.

Not hard to get the pots out, but a pain to get them back in. I usually tape some kite string to the posts and pull them back through.

I gotta start looking at some other pawns shops, I have lived in Austin since 1996 and was surprised at the sheer number of pawn shops here, but they ask new prices for used stuff.
I need to go to the ones you visit!
