Beautiful handmade BSX EUB for sale. One owner. Very low miles.

This is one of Dino's prototypes of the BSX Allegro Acoustic model ca.1999 or 2000.

$1,500 (OBO) includes gig bag, and standard accessories - tummy rest & allen wrench for neck/action.

Nice traditional burst finish with very few scuffs & scratches.

Plays like butter. Strung with Spiro Weich/Solo set plus Obligato D&G.

Growly acoustic tone. Amplifies well with built-in piezo pickup & active (9V) 3 band EQ.
Bow / Pizz switch to optimize tone. Removable neck for travel.

Perfect for late night / dorm / apt practice or road / pit musician.

Hoping for local cash sale around Pittsburgh area.

FWIW - I've played several new & used BSX models over the years. This one is for sure a very nice find. Rarely gigged (if ever) only the slightest routine dings & scratches on the front - barely visible. Plays great, sounds great, super clean!

Can you describe the removable neck. Is it like the eminence bass where you loosen the strings, remove the bridge and then un-bolt the neck from the back?

Just wondering if it would be "easy" to take the bass apart and put in in a smaller sized case to make checking it on an airplane hassle free.

Right - loosen strings & remove neck with hex bolt. If I remember correctly the bridge might not come off.
This isn't my bass - selling it for a friend - so I've never taken it apart.
I did take my (newer model) Allegro apart once for travel and it was a pretty easy operation.
