Solid body electric uke basses?

Thinking about grabbing this Hadean for the occasional acoustic gig, but mostly just for fun. Unless it’s total trash, it would be hard to wrong for $200.

Any other fairly inexpensive options that you would recommend?

I just got one of these in a trade and haven't played it much because rubber strings are horrible! I've got a set of silver wrapped nylon strings being delivered today. I'll let you know how it goes.

I ended up going with the Hadean. I really like it. Yes, the rubber strings take some getting used to, but it’s fun to play and sounds good.

Build quality is fine. Knobs feel cheap, as you would expect, but they work.

Overall, it’s a ton of fun for <$200, and I’m happy with the purchase.

I really wanted to try the Hadean/Rondo uke basses due to their low price point but they are not available lefty. I have been playing Gold Tone solid body uke basses exclusively for the last few years and they are great, but a bit pricier than the Hadean though. I did have a custom semi hollow fret less 5 string uke bass built for me at great cost and it is my main instrument now.
