I think there's no way you can decide between SS and tube based on the desire for a lot of midrange, low end or treble output. Just one example: The SVT has been known to deliver mids from time to time.I happen to like the midrange type of sound so I think I'm better off with a solid state head like an eden wtb-400 what does everyone think![]()

I prefer SS. Tubes sound nice in the music store, practice room and the living room.
