I'll play! Here are some pics from Mardi Gras Galveston '19.... We love playing this show every year, but had to cancel this year due to family being in the hospital. Our next show is July 4th at a giant BBQ joint - city block sized venue behind the restaurant (is that a Texas thing?). Hopefully things have calmed down enough to fill that place up again, but if not we'll probably stream a show from the restaurant. Fingers crossed!

This is from a fancy gig we did in January 2019. You can't see me as I'm behind the singer in this shot, but that's the best place for me.

Last WeeJams gig. Not a really good shot but it was a small stage for 12 performers.

I got to say, it's fairly unusual to see an UB player with two GK stacks..LOL!! Backline gear?

Yeah, backline. It was an all-day festival and we were on for an hour in the afternoon. Big FOH set-up since we were playing to a huge outdoor crowd. On stage, just enough coming through the stack that I could hear what was going on and it worked surprisingly well. I don't recall why there was a second stack on the other side of the stage. I expect it had something to do with some later act's requirements but I wasn't around to find out.

I guess I play a lot smaller affairs than most... A year or so ago a fellow musician brought his family to dinner at a little restaurant I've had monthly gigs at for a few years now. His little boy wore himself out and a good time was had by all.

Was really fun to play at an amusement park! Free admittance to all the rides after the gig, plus $$$. Probably my favorite gig, even though we only had a small time slot as they were fitting in a bunch of bands.
