I found a set of great winter tires near the campus dumpster on move out day. For a broke college student, that's a blessing.
Five out of six are near perfect. One of them, well let's just say it's patched. With gorilla tape.
But hey, it doesn't buzz, rattle, or hum. I cranked it up in my garage last night and everything else shook, rattled, and buzzed. Stuff was falling off the walls.
Now THAT was fun!!!

Six speakers, maybe there be a hex on that cab. Could have a lot of funk in it.
It's great to be able to resurrect a vintage cab and put it back in service.
I'm just glad it didn't fallout the back of my hatchback on the long (1/2 block

through it is really funky! It sounds pretty good. She ain't pretty, she ain't perfect, but she's got a big round booty, and a sweet sultry voice.
You'll be patching more of those speakers if you use the lowest band on the MB200 above 50% much.
I'm not overly concerned, if they blow, they blow. I've have been watching the low end though. Appreciate the concern either way.
I'm gonna do what I would call a "clean-up". I am going to remove the crap that is peeling, flaking, and otherwise nasty. I'll probably just paint it after that. Maybe some crazy color........... like black? I could just use the left over paint from my daughters bedroom. But "pretty in pink" might be a bit much.
I would probably try to find some drivers for it & cover it in new rat fur.
Drivers? Why there are six already, certainly more would be crazy!!

Buy 4 tubes of black acrylic caulk, cut them open and empty them into a paint roller pan. Miz a little water and stir it up. Take a nappy roller, and cauderize the wounds, right over the tolex and bare wood... homemade rhino liner, kinda

My Acoustic 370 head was rescued off the curb. It worked fine and was only missing a knob.
