Someone cracked the Animato

Builds have started. :) Think it is about a month ETA, depends how long it takes a few suppliers to bring in those NTE's.

Got the gate control inside on the top right of the board inside. It does kind of desaturate the sound if you turn it up but with a bit of tweaking there is a happy medium. Or you can just heavy gate it for tight control, which actually could be useful. Does induce a little bit of level and distortion drop.

(Missing resistor? Left intentionally blank, if a unit is *unbelievably* noisy, which I doubt, I can drop one in to give wider control using the trimpot.

Thanks everyone, took a few goes to get something to fit this nicely. At least gold plating makes my life so much easier. :)

Got a big muff clone working too, I can see why this combination is used by Chris. Need more soundclips while I build.

This is one of those few times I wished I lived in the US, it'd make these deliveries and orders so much easier. Can't back order a lot of things. :(

I feel like it's been such a long time coming, mainly waiting on NTE to make the transistors but 15/50 are running perfectly to be boxed (or 15/48 or 17/50, it's complicated)

Meanwhile, been working on something else. The Mt'lab FAT Humster, as being used in Defector is on the table. One guy from Muse forums took some pics of the boards and I've worked out what is in that too for the most part. Once these are off.

I will open it back up for a while. I was going to wait before selling more to give everyone that emailed me a chance but there is a lot remaining still.

Email me at [email protected] . I'm sending the first lot out tomorrow, then as I slowly finish them off. Could do a few a day.

Haven't forgotten the Voskhod either. Had insufficient funds up to this point. :-(

Tracking says mine is out for delivery! Hopefully Mr. Mailman doesn't leave a notice on the door and then walk away even though my wife is home, that's what happened with my COG Rogue One this week. If that happens I'll get it tomorrow from the post office so not the end of the world. Can't wait to try it out in combination with the Rogue One, I have high hopes the two together are going to be epic :)
