Thank you so much guys! Glad you guys enjoy it. The clean blend really brings it out I have to admit but it can stand on it's own quite well also, which is kind of refreshing to say.
I'll start a small production run soon of about 15 and it'll be first come, first served with them. I will have to finish off my uni for the year before going right into it so they'll probably be up for sale come December. Just a few little things I need to figure out still like how to get decals printed here and just some other logistics.
If that production goes well, I'll likely use any left over money to work on another bass overdrive or fuzz. Something that hopefully is slightly more versatile.

I finally heard that attack issue you were talking about. It sounds like the original has just a slightly sharper attack than the clone, otherwise it's extremely faithful. Good work!

it probably has something to do with the germanium trannys but honestly, I like the silicon version just as much.

I echo exactly what John says. For what it's worth, the silicon version is probably the safer bet to build. You don't have issues biasing, leaking transistors, having to source germs ($10 as opposed to $0.20) plus you get some extra gain which actually come to think of it, makes life easier with passive instruments. I'm definitely going to stick with silicon in my builds, that slight bit that is missing is really not going to be picked up unless you are truly listening for it, most people think it's identical which means that it's possible to faithfully reproduce it. If you need that little bit of warmth, my suggestion is turn the gain up a tiny bit more and dial the tone back a tiny bit too.
I've upped the number that I will build to 20 because it seems to be getting more attention than I actually expected. I'm working on ways to get the builds out in the best quality possible. Still aiming for $200AUD shipped, maybe $210. I'm going to check with the post office for shipping prices tomorrow when I am in town.
Also, will need to check the rules, I don't believe I can advertise them here without supporting membership. I'll work out something with that so I'm not breaking any rules here.

Did either of you have to make any changes to the circuit for it to work with the silicon trans?

change R16 to a 220K (instead of 100K) and that's it.
BTW, I did just try my second build with germaniums and it is a bit creamier so I may just stick with those.

Not really. In mine, I changed one resistor from 100k to 220k to lower the voltage going into the transistor pair but judging from that and the breadboard, it is by no means a necessary change. It was originally done to try and resolve an issue regarding a gating sound, which turned out to be a capacitor further down the line.
Creamier... Yeah, that would be a word I would use to describe the subtle difference. I think you notice it on the decay more than anything. I'll try and capture a clip of what I mean later tonight.
