Hmmmm. I don't know if it's the six tuners or the use of a Dusty-like image after he's gone. 
But I agree with the design sentiment. Only our community would get mixed feelings from it.

I think the problem is the three string six tuner guitar on the shirt about cool old bass players.
What bothers me about any message T-shirt of this ilk is the underlying indignant insecurity overcompensating, concerning getting/being old. Trying to justify one’s status just makes it worse…the defensive attitude invites more potential scorn. The more you act or present ‘old’, if that’s an issue, the more you are old.
And yeah, that artist(if there was one) was clueless.

The whole thing is just wrong.
It's clearly an image of Billy - not Dusty, who passed away at 72.
I am always amazed how artists will refuse, when assigned to draw a musical instrument, to simply pull up actual photographs of the damn thing on the internet!
You should see how they "draw" saxophones and upright basses! Really? When there are millions of clearly-focused photographs of both things, from all conceivable angles, available to you for a couple mouse clicks?
I'd say "lazy artists" but it seems to me it'd be MORE work to try to dredge up from one's memory an inaccurate representation of what a musical instrument looks like, than to simply look at a photograph of the thing.

Well, yeah, that’s the immediately apparent thing, but I was calling out the general mindset behind these kinds of T-shirts. It’s a different kind of yelling at clouds.
The good news is that picture is 'shopped onto the shirt, so as far as we know, it isn't real.

OMG. Where can I get this? I'll wear it over my Beatles shirt that shows a picture of The Monkees.
Looking at this gives me the same feeling I think I would have if I were to step barefoot into a ziploc bag full of smashed buttholes.

The internet is pretty much all ai and bots so this is the kind of cr*p it produces. Then it constantly learns from ai and ai learns from that ai and so on… it’s best just to log off and go for a hike
