That was a pretty cool song -- cool bass line and bass tone, too.
The Contrarian in me is pretty excited to see that the tweeter on the 2x10 cabs is placed in the top LEFT corner of the cabinet (virtually every other example I can think of, with the exception of GRBass' 1x12, has the tweeter on the right).

I hear what you’re saying. When I got my Markbass CMD102P combo on first release about 16 years ago, I was thrilled with how light (and loud) it was at 44 lb. But nowadays, I’m totally happy with my Mesa TT800 head and GR AT212 cab, 7 lb plus 28 lb. 20% lighter and quite a bit louder! But believe me, if Markbass were to make an 800 W 212 combo that weighed 35 lb, I would most definitely be checking it out, and I’m pretty sure I’d buy it. Still very keen on Markbass stuff, but just a bit disappointed that the options unveiled today weren’t a bit more radical or “revolutionary”.
Just for background info, I still have my MB 102P combo, with a Traveller 115 cab. I love that rig and have gigged it a lot. But nowadays, I have the additional options of a Fender Rumble Stage 800 with a Fender 115 cab, a Darkglass Microtubes 900 with a DG212 cab, a Mesa Subway 212 cab and the Mesa amp plus the GR graphite cab.
Really spoilt for choice, I know, and it’s all really good gear. But my favourite rig currently is definitely the Mesa amp with the graphite GR Bass cab. Kinda hard to beat. And a 212 is my cab preference of choice nowadays, anyway, rather than 210 plus 115. Next on the shopping list is going to be the Barefaced Big Twin II, I think.

The website seems to be functioning normally now, albeit still just a tad slow.
Looking through the heads, the first thing I noticed is that the number of heads has been *drastically* reduced. Looks like the "Fender-ization" of MarkBass-- releasing a constant barrage of artist signature models of dubious differentiation-- has finally come to an end.
The Richard Bona "Ninja" and Andrew Gouche "AG1000" models appear to be refreshed and are still in the lineup. The one head-scratcher is the Little Mark 250 Black Line, which continues in the lineup, despite the addition of the Little Mark IV 300.
The Cabinet re-launch is definitely more interesting. Most of the different formats are split into 3 sub-types: "P", "Pure", and "Energy". The cabinets with the "P" suffix are ceramic driver with a Piezo tweeter. Those with a "Pure" suffix have Neo drivers and a "Hi-Fi" tweeter. Those with an "Energy" suffix have Neo drivers and swap the tweeter for a 1" driver with horn (coaxial?). What interests me is that they now have a 6-ohm 3x10 cab!

The presentation/announcement of new products may have been lacking but the new look, products and cleaning out of old is a great and solid move by Marco. the '58' combo's with choice of new tweeter types[new piezo also] along with ceramic woofer choice available and having FX loop, DI out on front [top], no rat fur, receded quality handle made in Italy along with New sized and shaped Italian line of Cabinets starting at 9.8 Kg sorta revolutionary to me.
Presumably any amp that can be run at 4ohm is capable of seeing that load? One doesn't see many (see: zero) 6ohm amps these days. Colour me at least somewhat intrigued
They have 2 choices on new 58 combo's 'P' with ceramic and 'Pure' with Neo [3 choices with Cabinets] and 102's have new cab shape with '58's'

My guess is it's actually 5.33 ohms.
I think they just rounded up the impedance from 5.33 ohms. Most musicians can't be bothered with that detail. But pretty much any amp with a *linear* output section that can handle a 4-ohm load should be able to drive this just fine.
That's actually possible with standard speaker impedances. Wire (3) 4 ohm drivers in series, giving you 12 ohm. Do that with a second set of 3. Then wire the (2) sets (3 series-wired drivers per set) in parallel.
1/(1/12+1/12)=6
I like the new amp. The cabs/combos look really good but I dislike rear porting so I'll never own one, unfortunately.
I think they've done a great job.
The product range looks really good.
No more rat fur (which i didn't mind), good cab and combo options, and very impressive light weights.

There is a new Markbass 212 cab and I'm tempted by the Ninja 1000 or Ag 1000 amps. That oughta compete with your fave rig.
