The best tool is the one you have with you.Not ready to drop a C Note on FuzzMeasure but it sure looks capable. I just don't have the need. Will have to see what I can get out of Soundcraft's RTA
no doubt about that...The best tool is the one you have with you.
Have you *seen* my collection of tools...?The best tool is the one you have with you.

Thanks, Mal,Can any of you EQ2 and midi folks do a test for me ?
Create 2 presets on the EQ2.
Preset 1 selects input 1
Preset 2 selects input 1
On your midi controller create 2 scenes/patches/etc...
Scene 1 sends CC 104 and data 0 on the appropriate midi channel
Scene 2 sends CC 104 and data 1 on the appropriate midi channel
You should now be able to select inputs on your Eq2
Create another scene that sends CC 83 data 0 on the appropriate midi channel
Now you can turn on the Tuner
The test would be a scene that sends
CC 104 data 1 (select input 2) then CC 83 data 0
In my testing I don't get a tuner my input stays on Input 2. Trying to determine if this is pilot error or not and to get some independent results that will hopefully be of use to SA.
Thanks, Mal
In these very pages is a posting (probably from Roger, but maybe someone else at SA) stating there is a change coming to extent the HPF range. I'd have to go searching for it.Were these added features promised by Roger or someone else with us? I'm unaware of any forthcoming EQ2 updates other than some bug fixes with MIDI. We typically can't add any big features in after a pedal's release, as this has the potential to mess up lots of things like existing Neuro presets, manuals & documentation, existing marketing material, etc. Early OS pedals were an exception while we were finding our footing.
Ah! Yes, now I remember. That is why I count on @NPappas and Jesse to keep lists for such things. It is WAY to much for me to keep track of......and as we all know, the leader of a company can be the least competent. And this was in relation to adding a LPF:

I realize not every request can be honored, but at least I wasn't making it all up.
@600 Ohms @NPappas@rsmith601 Actually in an email exchange with me quoted below when I pointed out that the lack of tuner on Input 2 was a significant limitation, you agreed and indicated that you would have the issue put on Jesse's list as a feature request.
I expect the reason that few folks have asked for this is that we're all cooped up in our project studios. I've had the same two basses on stands for 6 months... When the live season hits, then that might change. My calendar is beginning to fill late May and forward.

Hi Mal,
I would call this a feature request, and you are the first one to ask for it. Given that some folks will use the pedal with 2 instruments, I can certainly see how it would be handy. I am actually kind of surprised that no one has brought this up yet given that we have shipped thousands of units to customers all over the world.
I talk to Jesse ten times a day. I will be sure its on his feature list. I am a bit worried that it is not an easy addition given my understanding of how routing works in the EQ2.
Thanks for letting me know.
Roger
