Source Audio EQ2

Trying to figure out if it's user error on my part, but my Channel 2 isn't working as an independent channel...
I/O Routing is set for stereo input and output
Split is enabled
Input Trim and Output Volume are set correctly
Mute is not engaged
Functioning cables

What am I missing?

To further clarify, I get audio from Channel 2 only when signal is passed through Channel 1 first. I can hear the second set of filters and changes I make therein.

When there is no signal through Channel 1, there is no audio through Channel 2. Is Channel 2 not completely independent?

Use case is Channel 1 and 2 in separate loops in midi loop switcher.
Channel 1 on/off and preset changes via switcher in front of signal chain for various tones, Channel 2 always on at end of chain for global EQ.

If it is set for Stereo In/Out then both channels are completely independent. There is no way to control the EQ2 based on presence or lack of a signal to the inputs, so the issue must be elsewhere.

One thing to check, do you have the noise gate enabled? It’s possible to set the noise gate to react to input 1

Yeah, that all looks fine to me. You can try the reset, and if I was you I’d probably try simplifying the setup to track down the issue (run just bass -> input 2 -> output 2 -> amp), normal troubleshooting stuff. Sorry, I got nothing!

Lol yeah, already tried that too. Thanks for the support!

EDIT: factory reset and power cycle did the trick... weird.

The untapped potential of this pedal is astounding. I see a lot of presets that follow curves that are amp based or pedal based, which is all fine. Couldn't we find EQ points and Qs to emulate studio outboard gear...API, Neve, SSL, etc? I see one preset on Neuro that's API based, but there's so much more to explore.

How close can we get this pedal to basically behave like any of your DAW EQ plugins? I know that outboard gear, or any analog pedal or preamp for that matter, is more than just EQ points...all the opamps and transformers and whatnot impart their sound, so adding those elements with other pedals is probably in order...OR...are there future firmware updates that could take the EQ2 in that direction?

I actually made my EQ curves for bass and acoustic guitar by looking at a track in Studio One and their ProEQ plugin and matched up the curve they use for bass (actually the preset I had been using for mixing in Studio One) and acoustic guitar, then fine tuned just a bit to taste. That was the only way I could really think of starting, since all my previous EQing had been on my amps and preamp on the bass, not exactly 10 band pedals with the ability to choose precisely the frequencies I want to attenuate or enhance. I haven't yet uploaded those to the cloud yet, but hope to do that this weekend.

problem with eq2.. presets scrolling up/down by itself when assigning external control -> external switch (Preset Up/Down), I have unplugged the external switch just to see if it stops from scrolling, it didn't stop jumping to each preset. I also did a factory reset, nothing works.

Are the switches in your external box normally open or normally closed ?
If they are momentary, do they open or close when you push the button ?

Forgot to mention, it worked earlier on the initial test, then I edited and added some presets.

I've disconnected the external switch, assigned it to 'neuro/hub expression', worked as normal, but when I set it back to 'external preset up/down', the pedal seems to switch itself internally.

This is without anything connected?
What’s the main footswitch setup to do when holding the switch?

Nothing is connected to the control input, then set Neuro app(pc) to either of the 4 options available for ext footswitch just to see if the problem is the ext switch.

Main footswitch set to option 4, then set to option 8.

I'll have to check it again later to see if it will go back to normal.

@Gibs210 tried it out in a gig last night, it was working fine the first few songs then suddenly in the middle of the song mid-set, the EQ2 suddenly jump presets around .

Will the presets be affected by the power supply? EQ2 is working great (same power supply used below), I've got this for 3 months now. I've just decided to add the external switch thinking it can help a bit in switching, but it messes the pedal specifically the preset changes.

Are you using the SA tap switch? Also what was the supply, I don’t see what you mentioned, if it’s not providing 180mA of current, you’ll definitely get some unwanted behavior from the pedal.
