Source Audio OFD

Figured it out. My EHX Super Ego doesn't like the Gator power supply. The OFD is definitely accentuating the noise, even when not engaged (pulled it out of the chain and it lessens considerably). Switched the Super Ego back to the original EHX power supply and all is quiet again. Thanks for bearing with me everyone.

Also, I've found having a USB cable attached to a pedal (any brand of pedal) often introduces a "whining" noise to the audio path. I've read this can be eliminated by using a special 'lifted' USB cable. Never tried one though....
Yeah I figured that out at a gig. Drove me insane and I pulled apart my pedal board at sound-check. I looked like a tool but I found the offender and slapped the board back together. I had thought it was a bad power supply.

I've been using my OFD since it launched, and recently I've been having this problem with the preset 1 footswitch. It doesn't seem to register the press-and-hold way of setting my preset for that switch. Preset 2 footswitch is fine, edit settings, preset 2 light blinks, press-and-hold preset 2 footswitch, and saved.

Preset 1 however, just bypasses when i press-and-hold it. Anyone else got this problem too?

Been reading through the thread. Sorry, I didn't read all 35 pages! Does anyone run this direct to a PA?. Meaning, not using a di with amp modeling like the VT bass di, amped scrdi, etc. I've had luck with some overdrives that sound great this way. I'll most likely be adding something like that soon, but just curious. Really like what I've heard of this pedal
