Source Audio Sorcerers Society (S.A.S.S) Part 3

We are planning to ship Reflex on Monday. Vertigo is shipping now. 2 down, many more to come!

2nd iteration of my first board - it became all Source Audio after just having the Manta! Had to go all out with the hub and Midi controller to take advantage of all the sounds available. Great stuff - still figuring it all out and having fun!

I know this is a source audio thread and your setup looks really cool, but I need to ask - what is that crazy gameboy thing in the bottom right corner?

Anyway how's the orbital doing for you? I was considering adding one to my board, but I went to the shop to try one and was a little bit underwhelmed tbh. I was rather surprised since I really liked the phaser on the manta so I thought the orbital would be even better.

That's a GoGo Tuner, definitely different looking (like a Gameboy! ha) but really easy to read with the huge LED.

I really like the Phaser on the Manta as well and the Orbital can get those similar sounds but it can also get a ton more. I initially needed a chorus, but I'm finding some really cool sounds through the Flanger > Resonator settings.

Further question, about SA reflex:

How would this expression behemoth integrate with the hub?
The reflex has multifunction IN, i assume that is how the hub can control the reflex presets.
Does the reflex also send information to the hub, and then pedals, with this connection? Or do i still have to use 1/4" into the hub

My understanding is the Multifunction In is to control the Reflex from the Hub. For the Sensor Out you can send that to the Hub (if you don't need the port for the HH3) or directly to an SB2 pedal.

You can also send things to the Hub and onward through one of the 10k outputs OR MIDI.
