I've got the Manta Bass Filter and the OFD Bass and I really like the sounds I get from them. I recently got the Soundbox hub and haven't been as satisfied with it. I've got the latest firmware in the hub and pedals and the latest Hub Manager software. The software is kinda wonky and doesn't seem to do half of what I expected it to do, but that's a different discussion. Right now, I've got a few scenes saved and I can change between them using the hub manager software. When I hook up a MIDI controller pedal (ART X-15 that controls other MIDI hardware with no issues), I can't seem to get the hub to change scenes.

The hub is set to MIDI OMNI mode. The controller pedal and MIDI cable are both good and I can execute program changes in other devices. I've tried using the pedal when the hub is connected to the MacBook via USB and also with it disconnected.

Any ideas what the problem might be?

I believe you can also select the MIDI channel for each pedal in an "additional settings" window, you may want to check they are set to the same channel your controller sends on.

Thanks, but the hub is where the programs (or Scenes) are stored, so the Program Change MIDI message goes to the hub, not the individual pedals. The hub is in OMNI mode.

Just in case my understanding is wrong, the pedals are set to MIDI channel 1. My controller is set to MIDI channel 1. The hub says MIDI channel 1 along with the OMNI mode box checked.

Sorry, but there is MIDI channel settings for both the hub and for individual pedals as well.

But if everything is set to the same channel it should work.

The pedals get MIDI Continuous Controller messages relayed to them by the hub.

Some further experimenting found that I can control pedal parameters with CC messages from the same controller pedal if I set the 'Control Input' dropdown in the hub software to 'Expression'.

Still no dice with PC messages even though everything is set to channel 1.
