Source Audio Sorcerers Society (S.A.S.S) Part 3

Got a hub in today, updated firmware, but my sb2 pedals wouldn't turn on!
Couldn't figure it out for the life of me, called tech support line and a very kind employee agreed to help me out.
While explaining i realized that older sb2 need 1/4" to power.
Phew! Now everything is at latest firmware. Reverb was fw0!
Point of post: bravo friendly SA staff for taking my (unnecessary) call :)

Just ordered the hub and a Midi Mouse to go with my Manta And Bass Multiwave Distortion. I am considering the Orbital now, I liked some of the chorus and resonator sounds Will was demonstrating on the video. I am hesitant though as I am not sure how much I will use that pedal. Also, I do wish I bought the Bass OFD instead of the Multiwave. I can’t seem to get a distortion I like on the BMD, so I may end up buying the OFD someday.

That's a good question...I think mine worked okay once I sorted out my MIDI routing issues and whatnot?

So, now that you are getting all those nice white tuners. I expect you to figure out all the intricacies of hooking up the Reflex to them. I am expecting a full report in August when I am back so I can purchase one and hook it up :)

Since I've already figured out to use it with the Factors, I don't think it will be too much of a problem...Jesse said he'd already figured out how to hook them up to the H9s but he needed someone to test the Factors. Of course, that's with the 1/4" TRS outputs. I'm definitely going to use MIDI.

In the US this week visiting family and got the Vertigo. My intent is to use it with guitar but I tried it with bass and it is very nice. I have the Orbital with a few tremolo settings saved on the hub, but the Vertigo is so much more versatile. The harmonic setting is worth the price alone, can’t wait to try it with my full rig when I get back to Spain in a week.

The nice thing the Orbital has going for it is built in tap tempo. Question for SA, when will the tap tempo switch be available? Or can other momentary switches be used (like the boss fs-5u)?

Also, the mailman just dropped off the Reflex… uh oh…

Woo, the wait is over. Very impressed so far and the Reflex is actually lighter than I expected (not that weight is something I really think about when it comes to pedals) and feels really solid. Can't wait to get everything all set up.

@rsmith601
I really like the included right angle-right angle 1/4" TRS cable, any chance they'll be available individually from the SA site store like the 1/8" daisy chain cables are?
I've actually had a tough time finding nice TRS cables like that and I'd love a matching set to go with the Reflex. I plan on using all three outputs and really utilizing all that the pedal can do! Thanks

No the tap tempo switch for the One Series pedals is unique to us. Note that we are using one port for a crazy number of different things. Hope to have them for sale via our store in a few weeks.

Great video as always!! Great tone!! If you don't mind me asking, What are you using for a compressor??
It's a plugin called Supercharger. I got it last year sometime from some holiday sale. It is simply amazing what it does for bass tone. It has a switchable dirt option that sounds like a tube breaking up. I'll have to do a comparison demo, it really is awesome and I'd Buy it over and over if I had to.

Your online store only ships to US and Canada (which worked out really well for me with the Reflex, but I don't make it to the states that often). When will it be available to the rest of us?
