If I knew with any kind of realness. I would let you know ASAP. As soon as I get a good idea on these things, I will let you all know.

As noted, we are trying to do many, many big things right now.

BTW, I took Nemesis to California to show to Mike Gordon, a few delay experts, and a few high end effect stores. It sounded amazing!

I've been thinking about getting a hub to increase my ability to save presets with my manta but I also have a BEFpro and a MWDpro that id like to use it with but if I understand correctly you cant save/switch presets on the pro models with the hub so I can only use it with the manta? or other sb2 pedals?

wow I wish I had seen this post before I bought a bef pro and a mwd pro, if I knew the makers wer questioning the value of having them around I'd have thought twice about buying them, sadly im only realizing now that I want a hub to save more presets that I cant use the pro models with the hub.
how about a trade in program wear you can buy a hub and swap your pro models for soundblox 2'S :)

Since I wrote that I have noticed that there is still strong demand for the SB Pro series. While they are big, they are much easier to use than the SB2, given more knobs, 6 presets, EQ, MIDI, Expression in, etc.

The Hub was created to solve what is missing on the SB2s (MIDI, Expression, more presets). If you have the space, the Pros are still outstanding products.

yes they are, I just always thought that I could add a hub in the future for better control options and extra presets and im a little disappointed now that I realized I can't.
I just orderd a hub off the SA website anyway to use with the manta and ill probably replace the Mwd pro with a OFD or maybe keep it for the programmable eq and get rid of the BEF pro since that had been replaced by the manta.
am I correct in thinking that the OFD will be better for more mainstream types of tube like distortion while the MWD is more synth like?

Get rid of the BEF and get the OFD and a PEQ. The PEQ can be used with the hub IIRC.

Yes the MWBD is more synthy and the OFD is more straight forward.

The PEQ was released before the Hub was even in the planning process, so it is not supported by the Hub. It does, however, have MIDI support. There is a MIDI jack on the PEQ that accepts program change messages to activate presets or bypass the EQ. It also can receive CC messages to control parameters directly. So, it's not compatible with the Hub, but your MIDI controller can control it.

Also, I should add that the Soundblox Pro pedals work this way as well. They, too, were released well before the Hub was developed, so they have full MIDI support for preset activation, bypass, and parameter control, but they cannot be saved in Hub scenes.

Glad I read this, I planned on getting the PEQ to use with scenes. Sometimes my Manta sounds gets to trebly so I have to roll off my tone knob on my bass and then back up when I change effect, and back again. I do the same with certain picking parts, I roll off the tone for a rounder sound when I play 32 notes or other tremolo style picking. I thought the PEQ was going to be a nice easy answer.

well im in the midi pool with both feet now I orderd a hub and an OFD today and im picking up a tech 21 mini midimouse tomorrow, so now I have a question about controlling my MWDpro with the midi signal
can I run a midi cable out of the hub to my MWDpro and have the same midi signal control the preset/bypass switching according to what number preset is selected on the midimouse ie.. midi preset #1=scene 1/MWD preset 1, midi preset #2= scene 2/MWD preset 3 ...ect
im guessing this would be done by seting the MWD to be trigerd by whatever singal the midimouse is sending for a given preset #

You will need to enable MIDI Thru on your Hub so that it passes messages that it receives through to the pedals connected to its MIDI output. The full description of MIDI support is shown in the manual on page 18, which you can find here: [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

Presets can be recalled with program change messages, and individual parameters can be modified with CC messages.

thanks, I learned I bit in the last few days and from what I can figure with the midi mouse the best I can do is assign the six presets to the first 6 program slots on the midi mouse and the 7th will bypass the pedal because the midi mouse only sends numerical pc messages 1-128 in that order. is this assumption correct?
and the hub can only pass this message threw and not change them according to what scene is selected? right

Yes, that's correct. The MIDI Mouse is pretty simple, so it only steps through PC messages in sequential order. The Hub will simply pass those messages through.

so I finally got my board hooked up last night with my hub, midi mouse, OFD and manta,(orbital is coming today) and I have to say im loving the hub manager for editing the presets, it's so much simpler than messing with the multifunction knobs, I hope I never have to turn those knobs again though I don't think ill be adding a laptop to my stage rig any time soon.
the only ishue im having is I have to reset the midi channel on the midimouse every time I power it up before it will switch the pedals threw the presets even though it powers up on channel 1 I have to toggle it up and back to 1 and reset it then it works fine until I shut the power off again.
at first an led blinks on the hub but the pedals do not react, after I reset the midimouse then it works fine
