Source Audio Sorcerers Society (S.A.S.S) Part 3

Powering SA pedals from 1spot cs 12 pro. I have a few SA pedal and only two open 250mA slots. Can I use 500mA with out hurting the pedal? Cant be good to under power them I would think.


Also i guess I should get a number as I now own a Manta, MWD, Dimensions and a Reflex.

Higher current capacity won't harm the pedal. It won't draw more current than it needs.

I did it for a while with the 25k and an insert cable. It worked, I didn't use it a whole lot so I can't comment on how well it worked, but things happened. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Indeed, no onboard tap tempo, due to the smaller box with one footswitch. There is a tap tempo function in the Neuro App, but obviously that is problematic when it comes to live performance. I personally like having the Tap Tempo to save real estate and to sync the pedals; yes, it works for all the modulation pedals as well.

Regarding the option that says "allow routing option to override effect bypass mode", does this mean that you can set it so you have the same routing options for effect engaged and disengaged whenever the switch is in that position? That's useful!

Nice! Would you be able to set a different routing option for engaged and not engaged? I recall long ago when the one series was in beta there was a mention of the possibility of the pedal going to an effects loop when disengaged and ignoring the effects loop when engaged,or similar applications. I'd like to be able to use an Aftershock to switch out my Darkglass when I engage, say, a fuzz.

Yes, that is also possible. With "Allow Routing Option to override Effect Bypass Mode," your selected routing option will remain, even when the effect is bypassed. If this mode is not enabled, the audio signal will pass through unaffected, as usual. In essence, any routing option plus the regular bypass can be saved per preset. Using the HUB, you can cue up any routing mode with the pedal bypassed, independent of what toggle switch you're on and the routing of the previously engaged effect.

Hi guys, can I be part of this excellent society?
My pedals are the Manta bass filter, the Orbital and the Soundblox hub.

I have a request to the fine developers at Source Audio.
Would it be possible to make the Soundblox Hub manager software so that in the Pedal Parameter editor all the buttons are correctly labelled.
So you can see the modulation source for instance, rather than just the blank button. It sort of looks a bit unfinished if you see what I mean...

This goes for all buttons off course, like the drive type in the Manta, the blend, the direction of filter sweep etc...

That is correct. With the One Series, you can assign any routing option to each toggle switch. For each toggle switch position, you can either keep the specified routing option when the pedal is bypassed, or have the audio signal revert to regular mono or stereo (if you're running stereo). If you'd like to access routing options in bypassed mode that are not currently assigned to any of the toggle switches, you're able to access them through the HUB.

I just got the Hub and a Midi Moose! Finally! I had both in various carts and states of purchase over the last few months, but now in my hand. I have a Manta, BMW and OFD. In some songs I use three effects and hated having to quickly stomp off the Manta and stomp on the OFD and then all off and then another on. I had the Hub on my board and 5 presets saved within 5 minutes. I can now click a single button and have banks of 5 with the Midi Moose. So much easier! Also I can finally dial in (already have) some other Manta settings instead of settling for 2 catch all settings. Next adding the Orbital and a POG2. The POG 2 will be the only button off the Moose I will have to press.
