hi guys.

im a regular visitor to this thread, and like keeping up to date with SA related tech.

A few things if i may ask....

1. is there a central source for soundblox 2 pedal patches? in particular ive just baught a SB2 orbital modulator and want some more patch ideas
2. other people seem to be able to get their Manta to sound better than mine. could it be because my bass has hot output?
3. ive been thinking about how i could incorporate some of my analogue pedals better into my midi controlled (midimouse + hub) rig... is there a simple solution to turning on/off a loop containing an analogue pedal? with a midi controlled looper maybe?just a thought but if SA produced a little loop box with a on off loop controlled by the multi function input.... i would buy 4 of them (available bub spaces)

I've been a regular visitor too and I know what you mean about the Manta, it can be tricky! What has worked best for me has been to tinker with a few settings at a time and then come back to it later, and tinker some more. Also watching some of the demo videos from SA help too.

I'm not sure if there is a single location for hub scenes, but I wish there were! I've searched the term 'dropbox' in this thread only and it's somewhat helped.

And for your third question about midi with your analog pedals, I'm with you! Any answers anyone?

I had the same problem and bought a PXL Live: Invalid Link Removed It's relatively cheap, it works and the learning curve ain't too steep thanks to an extensive "how to" video.

Interesting observation this evening. I have been getting my board all prepped for this weekend and was testing out my dry/wet signal chains together. Using the LS-2 to split after my tuner I ran this clean signal side by side with the rest of the board. Anyway, after some troubleshooting and pedal eliminating, I found the SA pedals (at least the Manta and OFD) to be phase inverted. I noticed it with the Manta and moved it off the board to see if there was something else causing the phasing I heard. It went away until I clickd on the OFD for a simple volume boost for a second bass, and it too (even with 100% clean mix on the OFD) was phase inverted.

This totally isn't an issue when running 1 chain as the clean and dirty side are both on the same phase, but running a second channel parallel to it brings a phase issue. When bypassed it is normal.

No complaining, just thought it was interesting. Something I never really thought too much about. Can't use it for this particular weekend, but I'll have to dig further and see what else I can do to run this in a parallel chain.

Would this be able to be addressed via a software patch? Not saying it should happen, but just curious if its even possible?

this is EXACTLY what i was looking for!

is it known yet if you could control multiple loop switches with one hub sensor output? chaining them together rather than one loop per port. i sure hope so, as with 4 x soundblox 2 already on my rig, i will only be able to utilize two loop switches otherwise.

Also, this opens up the world of Hub based midi switching to all those die hard analogue sticklers out there. its a really great product!

iirc the aftershock gives you all the modes/settings of the OFD, but with a few more features (e.g. the routing options and stereo options), but the OFD has two presets saved while the aftershock behaves a little more like a traditional pedal.

The multiwave is an entirely different beast, which is why I'm really hoping for a One series version of that.

I'm having an odd problem and wondering if others have it or if I have a setting wrong somewhere. I'm running the Bass OFD and Manta connected to the hub. I have a MIDI controller pedal (Rivera Headmaster) connected to the hub. I have 3 scenes created in the hub manager. Scene 1 uses filter 6x and TS9000, scene 2 uses filter 4 and TS9000, scene 3 uses 9x and Tube Drive. The pedals are engaged in the scene. When I use the MIDI pedal to change scenes, everything is fine.
However, I'd rather have the scenes saved with the sounds loaded to the pedals, but bypassed. So, I save the scenes again with the pedals bypassed. Now when I use the MIDI pedal to switch scenes, the sounds don't load to the pedals. The same sound stays loaded as was there previously. If I use the hub manager software to load the scenes (FX bypassed), it works correctly. The effect type changes on the pedal and when I engage it with the button, the sound is correct.
This doesn't seem to be a MIDI issue, as the patch does change. If I have the Manta or OFD engaged when I change scenes with the MIDI pedal, the Manta or OFD will go to bypass. It just won't load the sound. The 'auto save scene to pedal memory' box is checked in the hub manager. Everything is running on MIDI ch1.
Any ideas?

@GisserD I'm stoked for this one too! I'm not sure if daisy chaining will be a feature of the midi loop, but I'll get back to you as things develop.
@vitaobass Not currently. There has been talk of integrating the SA "Tap Tempo" switch as a momentary switch, when used with the One Series, but things are still in development.
@pbfrog Hi! When saving a preset with the HUB, only the parameters on the interface are saved. If the scene you save is a bypassed SB2, it will show no other information. So, unfortunately what you're trying to do isn't a feature of the HUB. I suggest saving your two main presets to the SB2's footswitches and accessing the rest via your MIDI controller.
