Source Audio Sorcerers Society (S.A.S.S) Part 3

Cheers guys, I will find somewhere that repairs near me and how much, but I did pick it up second hand in the first place for a pretty good price, so I am not overly upset, just pooling ideas just in case I had to go for a new one

Lunar + Neuro is seriously a lot of fun. I think I've got a flanger, a more subtle 4 stage phaser, and then a more intense 8 stage.

If I set the pedal to Mono Effect : Dry Through does that make output 1 the effected out and output 2 a clean out, or...? I need to spend some time with the manual!

Was able to use my girlfriend's iPhone to play with the Neuro app - the Compounding Shifter is SO much fun, you can create a really deep and complex shimmer effect by setting a relatively short delay time and using the "octave up" shift. I'm also really digging the Sequencer effect, it's extremely bass friendly and I dig my Bass Micro Synth through it. Once the Neuro app is on Android i'll definitely make a bunch of presets.

Anyone else have any cool settings to share?

Also, for you Source Audio folks, I want to buy a Neuro Hub but I'm a bit confused that the picture on your store still says "Soundblox Hub" - do these still need to be updated? I can wait for the best Hub if it's due to still come out.

Neuro vs. Soundblox is a rebranding, it's not a new version.

Oh, so same exact functionality? Cool.

SA folks, is there any plans to update the visuals for the Hub to reflect the new branding? Extremely minor, but since I don't own any Soundblox pedals it'd be cool to have the updated visuals if that's a thing. Ordering one regardless because it's such a neat idea!

Sorry for posting in this thread so often, I've just been going a bit nuts buying new SA stuff - I just received my Vertigo and I love it already! I just ordered the Hub + MIDI mouse so I'm excited to jump into the digital preset world! Worst case scenario it just becomes an additional 124 presets for my Nemesis, but I think I can think of some creative combination presets.

Thanks for the help, everyone in this thread! Luckily, there's not really any SA products left for me to buy :woot::bassist:

Hello.

I've been wondering if any of you have tried placing an OD/Distortion pedal right after the Manta Bass, or if you treat the Manta Bass as an envelope filter and play it after overdrive/distortion pedals in the signal path.
I've done both. Mostly use it after dirt pedals so it can be used as a filter properly.
