Some devices have an output volume loud enough to distort the Neuro App data. Try sending Neuro messages from the App at full volume minus one click, then minus two clicks, then minus three clicks, and so on. Do any of the volume levels work?

If not, I recommend performing a hard reset of the pedal. Do this by disconnecting all cables from the Gemini (power, audio, etc). Hold down the Control Input button and the Footswitch, and plug in the power supply. Wait until the Engage/Bypass LED is lit red. You can now stop pressing the Control Input button and Footswitch. Move the Effect Switch across it's three positions and the Engage/Bypass LED will turn green/red and the the Control LED will turn off. Press the Engage/Bypass Footswitch and wait for the reset to finish. The Gemini will reset and power up in factory default mode.

Neuro App parameters can be controlled through MIDI via the HUB or USB, but regular trs expression will only control knob values. This feature isn't currently working due to some of the latest firmware updates not meshing, but we're working on it. Thank you for your patience.

yeah, i have a midi mouse and a hub on my board, just to control my manta. I use it for filters, distortions, and phasers. i have about 7/8 patches in use throughout my set.

i used to have 3 SB2 pedals on there, but needed the space back. i still intend on adding a few loop switchers when they are available tho :)

Nathan's report of this being a firmware issue is not right. This is how the pedal was intended to function. The Gemini allows for Expression Control of either modulation (the default) or any combinations of the 4 knobs. This is true of an expression pedal direct to the pedal or expression going to Gemini via the Hub. It is also true of setting it up via the pedal or setting it up via the Hub Manager.

An noted, there is MIDI control of non-knob parameters all day long.

Why is this so? Because at some point we need to draw the line in how many combinations of features and modes we support and test for each pedal so that we can ship them rather than keep them in the lab in perpetuity. The Gemini is capable of complex interaction with iOS/Android/Windows MIDI device/Mac MIDI device/Hub/Hub Manager Mac/Hub Manager PC/SA Exp Pedal/3rd Party Expression Pedal/MIDI via the Hub/Hot Hand. Adding expression control of more than the 5 things identified adds significant additional complexity to the firmware on each pedal, and to the Hub Manager, which then gets multiplied by 7 when it is spread across all the other One Series pedals. The more complicated we make things, the longer it takes to get them to market and the more things that are risk of not working. This is on our wish list for future One Series feature updates, and if it is a common enough need, we can address it. The One Series pedals are already in a league of their own when it comes to inter-connection and control options. Sorry for the long response, but I want our thinking and decision making process to be very transparent!

So.....I can't control the speed on the Gemini via my Hub via expression pedal?

No, I tried using the instructions in the manual to do so, can't get it. The control light isn't flashing when my Hub sends the expression pedal signal through. I see the Hub flash every time the expression pedal moves, but the Gemini isn't picking it up from what I can tell.

Here's a quick video, showing how to control the Speed of the Gemini with an expression pedal going through the HUB. It's set up this way: Expression pedal Output -> HUB EXP IN -> HUB Multi-Function Output -> Gemini Control Input. It's normal that the control light of the Gemini isn't flashing when you send expression data through the HUB. It only flickers when receiving MIDI or Neuro data.

Thanks @nathannavarro I'll check into this tonight!

Edit: resetting the switch is something I didn't know about, wonder if that'll fix it - otherwise what you did is similar to what I tried. Can't wait to see if that does it.

@nathannavarro a little while ago you gave me awesome advice on the order of my pedal board to get a good bass wobble. I put my EBS Octabass after the manta bass, but the pedal was faulty.
Pedal sent for repair, they found nothing wrong, but it just does not track the low notes very well at all.

I already have a POG infront the manta which i use for supra octave mainly.

Can you or anyone else recommend a good octave esp for sub bass.

Pitch shifting can tend to be a bit unreliable with tracking. I haven't found any that track flawlessly, but I've currently settled with an MXR Bass Octave Deluxe, and a Boss OC-3. The Nemesis does great pitch shifting as well. On a side note, you can get some awesome sounds while using a Hot Hand to control a filter (Manta) and pitch shifter simultaneously. You'd need a pitch shifter with an expression input to do this, like a Boss PS-5/PS-6, Electroharmonix Pitch Fork, or Line 6 M series.

@nathannavarro thanks for that. I have great fun with the hot hand and the manta filter using it on the drive function, in fact I have my first gig using it this weekend. The band wanted me to do it after showing them you videos.
Our guitarist has an MXR BOD, I'll have a play as I really want something to fatten the sound not just using the manta but for other things, almost a bit Dug Pinnick.
I've got the Octabass dialled down, so it provides a little warmth, but I will look at your suggestions bro.
I do like buying more kit,!

Maybe a silly question and apologies if it has been asked already. How good is the pitch tracking/tone on the shifter mode for the Nemesis? Also, can the delay time be dropped low enough to 'just' use it as a pitch shifter? (Double duty from one pedal )

My main interest is in the octave down setting.
