You can see the cabling. The patch cables are actually helping to keep the mini TRS cables out of the way. The orange pedal is my Octaver, then you can see my power supply in the middle and next to that is the Hub.

That is a fantastic board! I LOVE Custom District stuff! I have 2 questions for ya'...

1. Is there a specific reason you chose the One Control Gecko over the Tech 21 Midi Mouse? I'm leaning towards the Gecko, but mainly because it looks nicer.
2. What are you carrying that board in? Did you get some kind of case with it?

BTW, I'm making the change to SA! I wasn't gonna post my board until I got it "finished" but I've got it started:

My Manta, HH3, & Hub should all be here this week! I'll say it again, I just need SA to make an Octave pedal and I'll be set, Except for my FEA DB-CL-that pedal ain't goin' nowheres! Still not 100% convinced I need the PEQ, but I'm contemplating it.

I chose the Gecko mostly on looks, but I prefer the location of the midi jack on the back (even its upside down and won't work nicely with a regular right angle cable. I'm having Studio Slips make a custom bag for it, fairly reasonable price for what you get and a reasonable turnaround time as well. Jean Buadin did the same thing for his monster Custom District board as well. Tonight is my first rehearsal since getting the board assembled, but its a short one and I don't have the bag yet, so I think I'm just going to take my Multiwave and jam with that for the hour like I used to a few years ago when I first bought the Multiwave Pro.

I went a little Source Audio crazy this week, and picked up an Orbital Modulator, Manta, and OFD. I've got them on my desk for programming duties, and will be putting them on a board next week. Unfortunately the OFD came with a dead LED for the 2nd switch, so it's going to have to go back for an exchange, so I'm not going to spend a lot of time fiddling with it. Most likely I'll find a sound I love and then will never be able to replicate it on the replacement!

Overall I'm really, really impressed. They sound almost as good as my analog pedals that cost 4 times as much, and only do one thing each. This is going to make gigging life much easier. Now if they'd only make a delay...

I've gotten everything in the last 3 days. I've programmed some very tasty stuff on the pedals. Next up is the HH3, which I'm about to dive into. The Hub is last, I think I'm gonna need a Gecko or a Midi Mouse to really use that...and a bigger board!

I abso-frickin'-lutely dig the SA stuff!


Just need an Octave...:bag::D

You can fit the hub and gecko on that board :)

I'm beginning work on building out a tiny (but perhaps mighty) pedalboard. Most of my pedalboards in the past have been gargantuan, so I'm really enjoying the idea of gigging with something super small. I've mounted a Manta, OFD, & Orbital onto a Pedaltrain Mini (no velcro!), and I'm saving a spot for one more SA pedal. If a SA delay were available, I'd have jumped on that already, but instead I may be looking at the Multiwave.

I'm still considering power options for these, and haven't found a small power supply that has enough amperage available except for the OneSpot. Is there anything out there that's got enough power and will fit below a Mini?

Also, I can't find the dimensions for the Hot Hand 3 - anybody care to measure their's and let me know? I'm aiming to perfect the layout and drill more holes in my board, and I'd like to have a good idea where everything is going to go before I throw my Pedaltrain back under the drill press.

You should be totally fine with a 1spot kit. You can add a couple more SA pedals and still be good I believe. I'd go for a PEQ. That pedal is money man. Money. Sweet little board. Everything covered about. Except delay ;)

I love the Dimension. It is a bit harder to dial in compared to super easy reverb pedals like the Nimbus, but it is SO MUCH more flexible. You can also get really creative with the dual expression pedal. I really suggest hooking it up to both the Manta and Dimension, even if you do not have the hub.

The PEQ really rocks. It's one of the smartest pedals I have and the one of the smartest decisions I've made buying a pedal. I had to trade my manta for it, but the manta can wait for my style. That PEQ is just too good to not have. Since I've gotten it I've barely touched my ATK. And my ATK has been my go to for years. While that may sound like a bad thing, to me, it's not. The PEQ finally made it possible for me to use my P in a band setting. That's a very good and missed thing for me.
