I'm hunting for some short 3.5mm TRRS patch cables to connect my four SA pedals, and I'm not finding anything commercially available that's less than 6'. I could always get the plugs and solder them myself, but for convenience's sake I'd rather just find something pre-made. Anybody stumbled across such a thing?

The only ones on their site are 6' long - I assume they're getting them from the only available commercial source. But a 6' cable connecting pedals that are right next to each other is a bit excessive. I guess I'm just going to make my own.

Also, does anybody know if Multi-function in and outs are order dependent? My pedalboard makes more sense with the Hothand on the left, which would put it last in the chain of the Multi-function order. I'm thinking it probably won't matter, but it would be nice to know definitively before I make my own 3.5mm TRRS cables.

Just finished up putting together my tiny little SA board. It's not quite finished, as I've got to make some cables to link all of the pedals to the Hot Hand, but this is pretty much it. Nice to take this wee rig out instead of hauling all my much larger, much more expensive single effects.

Rats! Bad news: my brand new Hot Hand is introducing a pretty gnarly hum through my rig when it's hooked up. It starts as a lower pitched hum, until it syncs with the ring, and then the pitch rises about a 5th. It doesn't sound like a typical hum - more like digital artifact with a wide pulse width. It's also not responding very well to the ring - it only does something interesting if I do really fast movements. Anything subtle it's completely non-responsive. I've gone through the manual several times, and even duplicated some settings from some SA Youtube videos to no avail. I think I got a dud, so it's going back to Amazon.

I'm not sure if I'm going to bother replacing it -what little I was getting out of it didn't seem to be of much musical use for me. The SA pedals sound great by themselves - no reason for my to flail my arms in the air just to produce a bizarre effect.

Ben, please don't send it back to Amazon is possible. It is much better to work with us directly!

I think what is happening is that you are right at the limits of your power supply. With no HH3 attached everything is fine. When you plug in HH3, and it now draws power from the pedal it is plugged into, the combination is now getting too little power. This will cause the clock noise from the HH3 to bleed into your signal. To verify this, try powering this pedal with one of out supplies. It should solve the problem. If not, contact us ASAP. We have solved many problems and we will solve this one too! Keeping TB and SASS members happy makes us happy!!

Right on! That fixed it - I'm noise free. Ok, I'm going to keep it. Now I just need to figure out how to make it do what I want. Thanks for your help!

The hub does only comes with 3 cables to connect the pedals with??? That's a bummer, as I just ordered one and would have ordered a few extra cables with it...I, like others here, think that it should come with 5 cables (I've got 4 pedals and an extra one is surely handy...) Well, I'll have to get myself a double expression pedal...Oh, and as number 171, i wonder if i could get my name corrected (Bellbass) and had Manta, OFD, Orbital, Hub and double expression pedal to my SA credentials!!! Thanks in advance and, once again, tremendous job to all the SA team!!!

I will fix it! Sorry about that.

We really wanted to keep the price of the Hub low, so that if all you want is a MIDI interface then you would not be too upset with the price. Believe it or not, our cable supplier does not give us a very good deal on the cables and the difference to us between 3 and 5 cables actually makes a difference. Hope this explains it.
