Didn't understand what "sensor out processed" meant. When and how each axis reacts according to the knobs+mode

My experience is that the major places that include nearly always-on discount codes (Prymaxe, Rogue, etc.) allow you to use them on Source Audio. I have had acceptable customer service with both of those places.

If you use Hot Hand 3 with one of our pedals (such at the Manta or the BEF Pro) you want to send "un processed" Hot Hand signals to the pedal. The reason is that these pedals have controls to do that built in (and you can save them as presets on the pedal!) If you use HH3 with a third party pedal, then you will certainly want to use these controls. HH3 comes such that the SENSOR OUT is unprocessed. I would leave it this way.

There are 2 key control parameters. DEPTH - This is the range of the control signal. How much control am I going to apply to my signal. SMOOTHING - Do I want to use Hot Hand for small tiny motions or big Pete Townsend arm windmills? You will note that when we give settings on Manta for bass wobbles we make suggestions for the right settings on Manta to control this.

The last thing to worry about is which axis. I think the default is X, because it is the best for most bass and guitar applications. I would leave it there until you get more advanced.

Just ordered off Prymaxe. The standard 15% off code wasn't working for me so their CS rep created one for me while we were using their web-based chat. Feeling good about it so far - can't wait to get down with my first (of hopefully many) SA gadget!

well, I have been using it as an expression on my 3leaf audio wonderlove... but tomorrow i should be getting my Manta .... i did think to myself, it might work better with a SA pedal ... I will see how it goes tomorrow after i play around with it..

Thanks! I think the Resonator 1 on the Orbital may be my favorite effect...EVER! I will probably be ordering a PEQ and a dual expression pedal this week. Thanks for making AWESOME effects that happen to be affordable. You guys ROCK!

thats one of my favorites too! At least on the orbital. My Dimension Reverb is always on though. Works well with all of my basses. My PEq is pretty much always on as well.

I've talked myself into the PEQ, I'm still trying to justify a Dimension Reverb, LOL.

BTW, my biggest regret as a bassist, other than not practicing enough, is selling the Pentabuzz I had. It was the same color as yours, but it had gold hardware. If it had come with black hardware, I'd probably still own it...

Hey guys, I have a few questions here about the Dual Expression Pedal.

(1) I know people in the past have expressed concern that when you remove the rubber feet, the screws are too long and get in the way of a flush attachment to the pedalboard. At one point Roger had mentioned the possibility of shipping it with shorter screws...has anything happened on this front? Is it still an issue? Has SA made a move on this? If not, do others have a work-around?

(2) I am considering a SA DEP for use with my Manta, perhaps an eventual Hub and other SA pedals, but also my some of my current pedals. Those include some Eventide units (which use 25k mono, but stereo also works), Line6 (10k mono), and Behringer BSY600 (stereo...50k I think?). For right now, I'm using an Ernie Ball VP Jr. 25k on one Eventide, a this1smyne 25k stereo expression knob on the other Eventide, nothing on the Line6, and a Yamaha FC-7 on the Behringer. My Manta is only connected to my HH3. I'm wondering if the SA DEP can help me consolidate (in particular, the FC-7 is off-board). The problem that I see, of course, is that even if it works with each of these pedals, I would need to adjust the pedal when switching between them. I will take advice/experience on using the SA DEP with any of these pedals, in addition to any general advice about how I might use it to simplify my setup.

Not that I know of but I need to mount my Dual ExP this week so I'll pop a screw out and see if I can determine what screws are needed to replace them with. Thanks for reminding me !
