I was going to say the same thing, although instead of "change effect settings" I might say "presets." This is something I hope they consider changing, though...

@rsmith601 @nathannavarro My biggest gripe of the "SB2 to One Series" conversion was that no one could tell me how to port over my favorite settings from the SB2 to the One Series. It would be SO helpful for those of us "upgrading" to know how the controls of the SB2 match up to the values of the One Series in the app. I say this again because I'd like to upgrade my Dimension and get the Ventris, but want to keep my two most used presets...PLEASE have someone map the settings of knob position (10 o'clock) to the Neuro app values (let's say 134)!

Wow. I can see how that would be very helpful. However, I can't see how to do this on our end. There are always lots of changes going from lets say a Dim. Reverb to a Ventris. I will discuss with Jesse, but I am a bit worried about how to do it.

I guess I was hoping that things like the engines from the Dimension, say the "E-Dome", would be the same engines in the Ventris - so then it would just be a matter of finding the numerical value of the knob positions on the Dimension (you can get this from the MIDI (?) dump from the Hub Manager saved scenes, but they don't match up to the Neuro settings - I've tried this from the Orbital to the Lunar/Gemini).

EDIT: and yes, I know I could just put them side by side and use my ears....but I put a lot of time into setting those Dimension patches, I would love to not have to do that again...especially on songs I've put on an album and need to recreate live night after night.

The problem is that the controls on the Dimension are created out of a combination of a huge list of parameters. In Ventris we will have a deeper set of parameters to control, so while it is the same "engine" that parameter mapping is not the same. This is the nature of the problem from our end. Again, I will ask Jesse what he thinks.

So, this dual processor thing that means you can change reverb without losing the initial reverb trail--that is Badass. Any chance you can put in the dimensions of the room, or the materials of the walls?

I mean, you have kinda set the bar pretty high with the Nemesis. :D

Not going to 'not use' the aftershock cos I do love it, just in so time poor that finding it hard to tweak things how I like... don't find much time to twiddle outside of practice and in finding that engines need tweaking to be set similar volume / tone wise.
I get that the nature of all the differing engines will always be different ie some scooped, some have mids emphasis and so on but can't just switch the tube heavy fuzz to the same levels without then fiddling with all the dials ( rendering it useless in a set :/) Just annoying I guess cos when going from tube as quiet then flicking to heavy it's overbearing, guess will have to put in the time to tweak them all to similar so can flick from tube heavy fuzz. I'm guessing best to set these in the red led mode so that I don't accidentally switch settings via knobs every time I move my pedal board?

haha Not sure we'll be going that deep. Different dimensions and materials are represented in different engines though.

Yes, definitely go with Red Mode in this case. That will allow you to set the volumes just right and have them in place later on.

No, you'll need to use the Nemesis Firmware Updater V8_2 and the One Series Updater V4, and connect them directly via mini USB.
