  • Had a MWBD Pro, BEF Pro, and Dual Expression at the time. The Pros are long gone, still have the Dual.
  • Have had the OFD Bass & Orbital Modulator for quite a while, but they just got knocked off my board.
  • Just recently I've switched to an Aftershock & Lunar. Have also added a Hub and Soleman, along with the old Dual Exp. I have my eyes on the Ventris, too.
As for non-SA... there's my wireless, turbo tuner, and a B3K that may or may not stay. (If it does, it'll be in a One Series loop.) There's also a Torpedo CAB that I'll probably start switching via the Soleman. Not sure yet if I'll bother doing that with my Beat Buddy or not.

Anybody put together a dUg patch for the Aftershock yet? I started fiddling with that... basically two engines in parallel, using the EQs as makeshift crossovers, to make a clean-ish (touch OD) low channel and a gnarly high channel? Mine's not quite there yet, but that's a fun trick to experiment with. :bassist:

Hey all, I recently added another SA pedal to my board--the Mercury--and I really like some of the sounds I've been able to make/download. But, unlike any other SA pedal I've used, I noticed that when I engage this one the pop is really severe. Possibly too severe to use. Anyone else have this problem and/or figured out a fix? Thanks!

Switch to buffered bypass?

Yup, agree with the other advice. Some pedal down your chain has a DC level that is floating away from ground. Great time to switch the Mercury to buffered bypass.

Oddball question...

I have a notion to use the loop function in my Aftershock, for at least a couple of scenes... I've got a big 'ol chrome Morley PWB that is fun to use, but would like to keep out of my signal chain most of the time. But I would also still like to be able to tweak settings on the Aftershock with the Neuro app.

Is it theoretically possible to build a regular patch cable, but with a "tap" in it for connecting to the Neuro app? I'm thinking I've seen that in here somewhere, but not sure.

Either that, or wait for the eventual SA One Series Envelope Filter, that will surely have a few simple "Wah" engines (perhaps "whiny brat", "sobbing tot", "big cliff") available, so I can sell this giant clunky Morley. ;)

this along with a female/female 1/4 adapter will do it, stereo end goes to input 2 of aftershock one side of the split goes to the morley input other side goes to the phone

Thanks! And that'd be great, but... wouldn't that be backwards? That is going out from input 2, to the external effect's input. And the external effect's output to output 2.

I've made cables for something like this. I run a few One Series pedals in stereo but wanted to be able to change the order and keep the Neuro data path intact.
Use a TRS plug - tip carries the audio, ring carries Neuro data. The same goes for both input and output side.
You'll also need a cable that takes the Neuro data from your phone to the ring connection of the pedal (on the input side). That could be a TS jack that you connect to the cable that comes with the pedal, or maybe wire the ring connection to a headphone cable that you can stow under the board when you're not using the app.

Here's a pic of my mostly-SA board, which I set up and rewired last night. There should be enough room to replace the T2 reverb with the Ventris when that comes out. :)

Hmmmm... did I miss something...

I've just redid my entire board and decided that I'd like to incorporate the Reflex expression pedal as a second exp pedal and it has midi out.
It now seems that all of my favorite (both local and online) shops don't have it in stock?? Thomann even does not have it listed, another one indicates "delivery in 26 weeks"... is it out of production or is it being replaced with something else?

I know it's not a big seller, but it's not been discontinued to the best of my knowledge.

I've found a few new ones on eBay and Reverb, so if all else fails, you can always look there, too.

We switched distributors in Germany. The old one sold all their stock to Thomann all at once, and then Thomann blew it out at really low pricing. Now, many things are sold out. It was crazy and unnecessary. Someone in Europe should have it!!

I just got some one series pedals and am trying to check to see if they are up to date software wise and I get to the SA site find the updater extract the files then it says open and it just flashes Back to the open/save screen and adds another download but it never opens anything or does anything at all? I am following the steps on the download page Must be doing something wrong? Any Ideas
