We switched distributors in Germany. The old one sold all their stock to Thomann all at once, and then Thomann blew it out at really low pricing. Now, many things are sold out. It was crazy and unnecessary. Someone in Europe should have it!!

Thanks for the explanation. Indeed, I found a German store where it said they should have them this week - and at a higher price than I had seen at Thomann (€250 instead of €180-something).. that'll teach me for hesitating ;-)

I just got some one series pedals and am trying to check to see if they are up to date software wise and I get to the SA site find the updater extract the files then it says open and it just flashes Back to the open/save screen and adds another download but it never opens anything or does anything at all? I am following the steps on the download page Must be doing something wrong? Any Ideas

Send a note to [email protected]. They are better than me with this stuff.

Cool ... however,
- Nemesis firmware 1.18 is required, but there is only 1.17 on the SA web site
- If two Reflex pedals are connected the editor crashes when double-clicking one of them

Click on the update utility in the editor to update the Nemesis. It will say you are up to date; choose to download anyway. Select the Nemesis firmware that came with the download. That will get you to 1.18.

Don't connect devices other than the Nemesis or One Series distortions (AfterShock, LA Lady, Kingmaker) for now. Reflex, Soleman, HUB, Soundblox 2's, and the rest of the One Series are in development.

Ventris is higher on the priority list at the moment.

I guess I'm curious if, independent of priorities, if this is something we can reasonably expect or if we should just assume that the Reflex is what it is at this point.

Reflex is an example of a product that only an engineering company would make. Very complicated and expensive to develop. Can't sell it at the price it ought to be sold at ($500+). Lots of technical support required. It would be even more cool and useful if we directed more R&D money towards it, but sales would not be impacted.
Jesse really wants to create the editor, because he knows it will make the product more useful. I can't say we will never do it. I can say that it will be for love of customers that gets it done....not love of Source Audio investors. That's the honest inside the company answer I can give.

Any chance of getting the communication specs? If the LFO for instance can be set up using MIDI SYSEX it would be very doable to cook up an editor.

Man, I was trying to buy a SA Vertigo. I've even made an order at a local shop here but can't find the distributor to order it from.
How can I get one of these now?

Here's a pic of my mostly-SA board, which I set up and rewired last night. There should be enough room to replace the T2 reverb with the Ventris when that comes out.

This setup is so much fun. I had trouble getting the Soleman to cooperate initially, but contacted SA and Nathan suggested a factory reset, which fixed the issue (I had purchased it used from my local GC). Now everything works like a charm. I have been playing with different sounds and combinations in the Neuro app, and saving presets with the Soleman/Hub combo. I am new to MIDI but the interface is so easy and intuitive, I rarely need to look at the manuals. But I know I'm only scratching the surface of what these boxes can do. Big thumbs up to SA, and I can't wait for the Ventris.

I don't consider it an affliction. But a little over a year ago I had no pedals. Then I bought the Compressore from you. Then I bought the OFD from you. Now here we are. I don't think the jury would need to cancel their dinner plans.

I do think it's under control. If in another year I've graduated to a bigger board and expanded beyond the Ventris, I may have to reconsider.

Can anyone tell me how many devices that the midi controller will control at once? Will it do midi for other brands? Eventide, Strymon, Meris, Chase Bliss...etc? Or just for Source Audio. Probably a dumb question, I know, but I'm in the market and need info.
