So I just picked up a Source audio Dual Expression Pedal and I have a Hub And it has been updated . So I hooked the Expression to the Hub and push the scan Button and the green light flashes . Now my Aftershock my Mercury and My Lunar Are hooked to the hub as well but the Expression does nothing everything else works and I am going to hook up the hub to the MIDI on my Boss ES-8 But I want to get everything else working first. I am a MIDI Newbie and have no clue what I am doing with that. But first getting the expression to work with the 3 pedals I have now. Also all 3 one series pedals have been updated. Any help is appreciated
Hi, @Nighttrain1127. Here are a few things to check. Connect your Dual Expression Pedal to the 1/4" expression input of the HUB. Press the "Scan Devices" button on the HUB and confirm that the top LED of each of your pedals flashes in response. Use the following expression mapping method for each pedal:
Press the control input button so that the top LED is not lit.
Hold down the control input button until the top LED blinks a couple times, clearing previous mappings.
Press the control input button so that the top LED is lit.
Hold down the control input button until the top LED blinks constantly.
Move the expression pedal over your desired range of motion. Some people prefer to have "dead space" past heel and toe position; if this is you, don't move the expression pedal entirely to heel or toe position during calibration.
Press the bypass footswitch.
Set your desired minimum/maximum values for any or all of the knobs.
Press the bypass footswitch.
Set your desired maximum/minimum values for any or all of the knobs.
Press the bypass footswitch.
