Yeah, I had the original Multiwave Bass Distortion and then the Pro MWBD and sold them both. Like you, I recently picked up a SB2 MWBD and its really working for me. I think its because I finally understand how all the parameters work together and I also understand the differences between all the effect choices (and it doesn't hurt that I'm also using a HUB so I can save a ton of presets). When I had the earlier versions of the pedal years ago I never really took the time to fully understand the power of the pedals. Now that I do, the MWBD is becoming a staple on my board.

I have a Prunes & Custard clone that I absolutely love, but I can get the same register with this pedal with a foldback single band that totally nails that super funky envelope fuzzy tone with the advantage that I can get my clean tone mixed and also eq options. I also got a great synthy sound, almost octavish with a setting of the multiwave foldback with the gain at lower settings that I'm loving so much and has given me great ideas for some songs. I only wish that I could use my expression pedal with it because it's easier to function compared with the Hot hand, because I can continue to pluck my strings and use my foot to control the pedal.

What firmware version is everyone with a Nemesis on? @nathannavarro told me there was a version 1.20, including some MIDI features I'm an interested in. I am at 1.19, and when I connect in the Neuro Desktop editor on Mac, it tells me there is a new version. When I click to download, it says it's already downloaded (immediately, zero time for any actual download or install) and to do the power cycle...but when I do that, I'm still at 1.19 and it tells me there is an update available.

Help?

Is your editor up to date?

Yes, I made that mistake but it only got me part of the way there: I was on 0.30 for the Neuro Desktop and that would update my Nemesis to 1.18. I downloaded Neuro Desktop 0.32 and that got me to 1.19.

Hmm. The only new things on Nemesis in a while are the midi cc's to recall presets on or off. Are you sure those are not in 1.19?
We need to have the firmware versions in the release notes. I have no easy way on a Sunday morning to check for you!

Yeah, those are the things I’m looking for and they are not in 1.19. Nathan said they were in 1.20 and I wrote him about it but considering it is the weekend I didn’t expect to hear back from until Monday or later so I thought I would see if any other users knew...

Mine is at 1.19 and the Desktop editor says I'm up to date...no update available...

Mine is behaving differently...it still tells me an update is available every time I connect with Neuro 0.32 and Nemesis 1.19...but then it stays on 1.19 after a reboot. I had previously had some similar issues with Neuro/Nemesis/Aftershock not recognizing the proper firmware version.

@Fiset, do you do any MIDI? If so, are you able to test what CCs 101-104 do? They are all supposed to be related to Nemesis on/off and how it loads presets.

In addition, when I go to "Edit MIDI Mapping" in 1.19, there is only an option selected for CC 102, which is the previous bypass/engage...nothing for 101/103/104 which are the new ones Nathan told me about.

It is amazing to me that USB and firmware updating is not 100% reliable in 2018. I cannot tell you how much work we have done to make this bulletproof, and then I get a message like this. Very strange. Nathan will get you sorted out tomorrow.

Quick question on the Reflex expression: is the pedal able to receive program changes and MIDI clock via the Multi function input from the Neuro Hub?

I know the Reflex can receive PC and MIDI clock from the 5-pin MIDI in and that it can send control to the hub via the sensor out.....just wondering if the reverse is possible as with the Soundblox 2 range. If I remember correctly, the Reflex is not currently supported in the Hub Manager so 'scene' switching is out of the question.

Hoping to stand corrected.

so why not put the hot hand on your foot???

So after many hours of scouring this thread and from my own experimentation I have answered the question I previously posted and subsequently found answers to questions that I didnt even have yet....

However, as the proud owner of a Hub, 3x Reflex Expressions (yes, three), a Manta Filter and BEF Pro this has led me to request an S.A.S.S. membership number :smug:

Trying to get an hour or so of weekend time in before my work week starts tomorrow morning. Will do! Welcome !

Is there any ETA on the app for the Ventris? I know I can use the PC, but I just don't want to. It makes it hard for me to bring a pc to my jam spot and I like being able to tweak things in action. If that makes sense. I know you guys have been working on it, but I'm actually really surprised it's not done.
