The only reason I'd go for a second Ventris is for the one-off flexibility! Same reason I prefer my Quasar DLX to a Phase 90... sure, I use a single setting 99% of the time, but what if while writing a song I decide that it REALLY needs wonky step-sequencer phasing? :)

That being said, I don't think the Ventris does the gated sound unless I'm missing something.

I don't believe it can do the gated verb. The Boss RV 500 can though. It's huge however.

I love the sounds Nathan gets here from the nemesis. Don’t own one yet but I’d like to know are the presets he uses for ‘shifter’, ‘warped record’ and ‘degrade’ available somewhere ? Or, even better, are they the standard presets ?

(Both a delay newb and a Sourecaudio newb here, apologies)

Nathan usually creates Neuro presets for all his stuff. :) easy to access

EDIT: now realize you're asking about Neuro and not the Hub. What I say below applies for the Hub.

No, it's a TRRS cable. It has two "rings" (3 black lines separating the conductors) rather than one ring/two lines for a TRS cable, which is a standard stereo cable.

Mono - one signal
Stereo - two signals (L + R audio)
Headset - three signals (L + R audio plus outgoing mic)

You know what, I'm very sorry, I misread your initial post. You are correct, Hub uses TRRS, Neuro only requires stereo.

A quick question about the One Series: Is it possible to use the High Pass Filter only, without otherwise affecting your sound? What I'd like to do it use my Mercury Flanger as an "always on" high pass filter by turning the effect completely down so they don't otherwise impact the signal.

I know from trying to use the EQ in the Bass OFD independently that this doesn't work. SA had confirmed "When you select an effect and engage it, and roll the drive knob all the way down to zero, the effect is not fully bypassed. This is actually intentional! The OFD is simulating that circuit type with the drive set to zero, and is it turns out, this is not completely transparent in the real world." I'm wondering if this is different with the new Parametric EQ in the One Series.

In short, is it possible to use the High Pass/Parametric EQ only with the pedal?

I’m not sure about the Mercury but with the aftershock you can select clean (no distortion) for a preset and then use the EQ HPF. I’ve not tried to see what it sounds like though.
