Yeah man, waiting to add the Spectrum filter and a Ventris (bottom left), but the ES-8/HUB combo is pretty deadly:

I am not sure I agree with @Adamixoye on this one.
1) There is a "sensor input" on the Hub. You can connect Hot Hand here and send a 2 axis Hot Hand signal to any SA pedal that is connected.
2) There is an "EXP" input on the Hub. You can connect the EXP out on the HH3 to go in here, and then you can send an EXP signal to any SA pedal that is connected.
3) I do not believe you can generate any kind of MIDI signals with the Hub. It is a MIDI through.
4) Soleman is different. If you connect something to the EXP input on the Soleman, you can generate MIDI CC to control either an SA pedal or a 3rd party pedal.
5) There is no "sensor input" on the Soleman. The only way to use Soleman and Hot Hand is via the EXP output of HH3 and go to the EXP input on Soleman.

I have not thought about this stuff in a while, and I could be wrong......but I don't think so.

The Neuro Hub does not work with the Neuro Mobile App. The new version of the Neuro Desktop Editor (available in beta format from me directly) DOES work very nicely with the Neuro Hub. In the old days, we had a special piece of software for the Hub called the "Hub Manager". This is being retired now that all the functionality (and more!) is integrated into the Desktop Editor.

It's been a loooooong time but I've used the HH3 to control non-SA pedals. Thought it was via MIDI? Maybe it was just through the EXP? Also, IIRC, the Hub had a setting for MIDI out channel/CC.

I need to go look again.

The Hub does not include a MIDI controller, because so many of you have and love the one you are currently using. Also, some want really small ones, and some want big ones with loops.
We saw that a MIDI controller like Soleman did not exist in the market, so we created it for those seeking that feature set.
The Soleman does not have a Hub for similar reasons. Its hard to make the perfect integrated solution for something that has lots of advantages when separate.
Hot Hand USB is a USB slave device. Soleman is a USB slave. Both can talk to a USB host device, such as a PC, but not each other.

I'm having a problem with the Neuro Desktop communicating with my Aftershock through the Hub, and am wondering if there are any known compatibility issues based on my setup. I recently started upgrading my SoundBlox2 based pedal board to a One based setup also replacing my old MIDI controller. I have the Aftershock, a Mercury and a True Spring connected to the Hub, with a Soleman controlling everything. (I bought a used Aftershock here on TB to help offset the cost of all the other new SA equipment.)

The Neuro Desktop works fine with the Aftershock connected directly, but not through the Hub. When connected through the Hub I'm able to change scenes, etc., but it will not open the settings for the pedal to allow them to be edited. Both the Mercury and the True Spring do work fine this way, and I'm able to customize their settings through the Desktop's connection through the Hub.

Is this potentially some problem with the Aftershock itself or is it likely a software issue?

I'm pretty sure the Desktop software only works with the Hub if you use the new beta version Roger mentioned. The one currently available on the website does not and is not meant to work with the Hub.

@Adamixoye is right. You need to use the version of the Desktop Editor with the Hub Manager integrated. It is in beta format now. If you would like to test it out, please send me a PM with your email.

Robert & Adam, thank you both for your quick responses. I think I was thrown by the fact that it worked for some pedals and not others.

thanks! However, that shows the downloads for the software - but doesn't show firmware downloads or what is the most up to date firmware version. I suspect the beta software isn't properly checking for firmware updates, but I don't have a list of firmware versions that I can reference to see if it is behaving correctly (there really are no updates).

Do not use the beta software for updating pedals. I would suggest download the current published editor and connect the pedals directly for updating (not via the Hub). This is the why we do not recommend using a beta version to everyone!
