i would want my manta after the drive. Just to give the filter more frequencies to work with. everything else seems logical to me, but as with all questions of this type, experimentation is key! trust your ears!

ALTERNATE KNOB BUTTON! This is so simple, but makes the Spectrum have more knobs on the face than the Nemesis/Ventris enclosure.

My one concern with the smaller One series stuff: solved. Bravo, SA!

Where does a compressor go in a Pitchfork, OFD, Manta, Orbital Mod chain ?. My thought is right up front...

Why use a compressor at all?
But it might be better after the Pitchfork, so try both placements.

I need some help!
Just got a Neuro Hub to be able to use more patches on my Manta.
Got a Disaster Area DMC 3XL (Gen2) controller.
And I'm totally confused.
I can save scenes on the Hub, but one at a time sequentially (I think).
The controller also has settings to save scenes. But all I manage to do is save a scene and recall it. I save another scene to another number but then that recalls the first scene too. Or then the first scene recalls the second (either way both do the same scene).

Can someone please spell out a simple way to use the DA controller and the Hub together to save, say, more than 3 Manta settings?

The Aftershock is doing wonders for my arco tone. Using Heavy, mostly clean with turned down voice. So much in there!!

Either between manta and orbital or right at the end after orbital. In both scenarios, your playing can still impact the manta through sensitivity.

Good news is everything fits perfect on my new board, but I need a lot of long cables! Thinking of making my own from ordered parts from redco. I’ve soldered preamps and pickups so can’t be that different I guess.

I did soldered for awhile with great results, then made the move to solderless Lava Tightropes on my latest board. Sound quality is identical to my ears, and assembly is super quick and easy once you get the hang of it. Super small heads, as well.

Haven’t had one bad cable yet, and I’ve made about 30!

I used George Ls for awhile, but I did have problems with them from time to time -- more annoying then anything. I also have my main instrument cable going out, so I'm just going to make all my cables over - so much cheaper then buying them pre-made.

While on the topic of cables, I e had insanely good experience with the Lava Tightrope as well. There is a video they made showing exactly how to make them (very specific way to do it) which is a pain and time consuming but as mentioned, it’ll be solid. Never had one fail either.

BUT, being that they take a few minutes to make a cable, and with all the pedal moving I do, I got a sample set of 3monkeys solderless cables and had to end up buying my own kit. I kid you not, these are the best cables ever. Cut them, twist on the plug, that’s it. It literally takes 3 seconds and you’re done, and just like the Lava cables they have never once failed after a year or so. The only drawback to them is they are Really expensive!

What a frustrating pedal board re-org. I had forgotten that I have to reconnect my Mercury, AS, and Hub independently to USB to really mess with them. Sure would be nice if I could connect to one central unit that I could use to configure the other pedals. With that awesome octave/filter pedal coming out, I don't know that I'm up for having to constantly plug and unplug for the deepdiving. If only I could connect my laptop to one thing and be able to work with all the components, that'd be swell.
