To get the DEP to work, you must connect it via the 1/4" output into the EXP IN on the HUB, you can't use the proprietary multi-function ports on the DEP. Once you do that, the EXP light will be available on the Manta.

I tried that and I can select EXP or HH but the Midi light stays on and the pedal has no effect on either setting. I only messed with it for about 10 minutes before going to bed after practice, I will dig back in later tonight. This is going to be fantastic for playing live. I have one or two more pedals to sell and then its time for the Orbital....
I had the problem that the hub and the OFD were not on the same power source as the G-System that controls the hub via Midi. The SA devices were always powered up when entering the rehearsal room and switching the power on. The G-System is in my rack and connected to the Furman. Meaning, when entering the room, the SA devices were switched on before the rest. This then had the effect that the Midi-Light did not light up (took me some time to notice) and the problem then was that the G-System did not control the OFD. The OFD was just running as usual, two presets, no switching via Midi.
Now I've put everything into the rack and feed the SA devices from the same power supply and it works like a charm.
Just for other who maybe are incorporating the Midi thing into their pedalboards and therefore have a weird power supply strategy in the beginning - this might be a mistake to avoid.

Wow, you know what, I had that issue with the Dimension Reverb (not always, just sometimes) before I overhauled my board, cables and power. I don't anymore and I am pretty sure they are now all on the same power supply. I don't have that issue anymore and all my PSUs should come on at the same time now since I did the rewiring. You are bringing up a really good point here.
Okay, let me help:
1) once it's hooked up that way, choose EXP while MIDI is lit up.
2) once EXP is lit up, press and hold the button until they start flashing
3) once they are flashing, choose the knob you want the DEP to control and choose the lowest value (heel down), once you have that knob value chosen, hit the button
4) the lights will flash faster now, at this point choose the highest value you want from that same knob (toe down), press the button again once you've chosen that value
5) now the DEP will control that knob value, with heel down being the lowest value and toe down being the highest value.
I use this for the Orbital, controlling the speed knob for chorus and phaser effects.

Thanks for pointing this out. I'm on the case! Should have the Windows version back up there today.
Make sure to connect the DEP via 1/4" TRS to the Hub instead of using the 1/8" sensor out from the DEP.
I am using he midi moose. I think the midi mouse was to limiting. In some songs I use several settings and program the patches on the same bank. I don't think it would be easy with a smaller controller.

I don't think it depends on the SA devices being powered by an other PSU, but when the hub is power up before the controlling device, it somehow does not detect it then when the controller receives power. I'd say that powering up everything at the same moment should fix this problem.

The updated Windows version of Hub Manager 2.0 Beta has been re-uploaded to the Dropbox folder. This update includes a few bug fixes. Specifically, the effect selector knob for the Dimension Reverb was not functioning correctly in the first beta build.

Today was my first experience with the HUB, the DEP and the M5 as midi controller. And, surprisingly, everything went better then expected. As a newbie in midi matters, I was quite intimidated but after a few quirks, I was able to program a few presets and recall them at a flick of a switch (DEP working and all!)! I'm still not able to name the presets correctly on the M5 but I know I must be doing something wrong. I won't rehearse until next week so no real test until then. But so far so good!!
Anybody had any luck dowloading the lastest HUB firmware for Windows? It seems there's a malicious software in there. At least, that's the message I get...

The HH and EXP indicators were also reversed in Dimension 'Verb manager. Did that make this revision?

Any chance of the Hub Manager identifying and editing the #2 Preset on the SB2 pedals themselves?
Well, I don't have a fancy power supply or anything. Under my board, I just have two power strips, 4 OneSpots, 1 Godlyke Powerall, 1 adapter for the Rusty Box, and one 18v adapter for the Cali76. But, before my big underside cleanup, I may have sometimes had had different powerstrips turning on at different times. Now, everything is fed to a third powerstrip I use to power all my junk so it all gets turned on at the same time, even if on different PSUs. I am sure they might be getting turned on at different times on the nanosecond level but it must be close enough. I don;t have any of these weird errors anymore.
So I found the power supply for my old ADA midi pedal and used tip to make a short lead for OneSpot. I still need shorter midi cable but I tucked the one I have under the board for now. I got everything set on board except I'm still waiting for my Carbon Copy back. The ease of saving and accessing presets with Hub and midi pedals is great. Also, I got the DEP working, thanks for your help bassvirtuoso and gastric!! I am totally digging the DEP with the Manta, this thing sounds sick! Can't wait to add an Orbital!!
I really like the Orbital but my favorite is still my Dimension Reverb! Once I get my power issues sorted and get the HUB rolling I'll update everything and start getting my scenes stacked up and set. Can't wait.
