I have actually been thinking of how I could fit it, but it just won't happen :) But, the way my setup is going, it would make sense to have it on a secondary board with the Expression pedal. I would move the hub back on top of the main board where my gecko is now. Put the new controller, expression pedal, on the secondary board. Maybe even a volume pedal or three :)

I've been toying with the idea of a second board; I really don't want one, but it would be cool with a secondary board for the less used experimental stuff ... wah, volume, Ditto, ring mod, pitch shifter ... too much fun. I have even drawn up plans for the interface boxes I would use to patch one board to the other.

This will be a great upgrade for me as I am using the Midi Moose which is very big! Not to mention as many options as the new SA Midi pedal is sporting!:bassist:

I'm been going in that direction as well. With my PT-3 pretty well stuffed, I might go with a JR. or a PT-1ish size just to put my volume and the Jam man and other at home stuff like that. Whatever size I can pick up cheap, I'd go with that, I think.

Unless I start a board for my upright and the NS......

I've had great success with a second modular pedalboard that can be added with ease to a main board, for extra optional gadgets beyond tuner/compressor/DI:

Wish I had the Hub back when I did the 'Chicago' video, I never got to save an exact scene of that before I moved on. Hopefully I'll be able to recreate sometime soon for you guys!

That Manta setting for Madness killed, Stinky634!

Good golly, do I need a Manta too?!? I need to try one. I need a Bassballs type tone (quacky, dirty, vocal) and a traditional MuTron tone (smooth, organic, subdued). Currently, I'm getting those tones with a combination of 3 pedals: Aguilar Filter Twin (does the MuTron thing very well), Mooer Bass Sweeper (nails the dirty Bassballs) & bith into a Mooer graphic eq to pump up the lows a bit. Would the Manta do all of this by itself?

I like the idea of a preamp modulator more. But hey, what do I know?!

I got a chance to try the SA BEF and the Tri-Mod Wah. Man these pedals are awesome filters! I really like them. The BEF especially is my ideal envelope filter. I have yet to try them in a band setting but so far, very cool. I dig them. Cant wait for next practice!

Sorry about the delay!

1) You can still use a scene even if you don’t have the pedal connected. The hub will just ignore any pedal saved in the scene which isn’t actually present on your board.

2) You can easily copy the settings from a single pedal in a scene to a new scene. Start by opening the scene and then open the pedal editor for the pedal you’re interested in (double-click the pedal, or highlight it and click Edit Pedal Settings). That will open the parameter editor window for the pedal. Now, click the Export button in the upper right corner of the window. This lets you save the pedal settings as a standalone file on your computer. From that point onward, you have a copy of those settings saved, and you can import those settings into any new or existing scene by adding the pedal to the scene and clicking the Import button in its pedal parameter editor window.

Jesse really did a great job with this software and the hub. It is really well thought out. This is really such a good way to create, archive and share sounds from one or more pedals. I cannot imagine that this process will not emerge one day as common for those with pedal boards. (yes, we filed for patents!)
