Okay,...so my SA dual expression pedal finally arrived. The plan was to use the mini plug for my C4, and the 1/4" for my HX stomp. However, the HXS doesn't seem to be happy with the SA exp pedal. Any advice on helping these two get along with each other? Tried some quick programming with it last night and there were a host of problems. For a simple wah on the HXS, I could use my old dunlop mini to turn the wah on and off. With the SA, it turns it on, but not until the end of the sweep. It also wouldn't save and recall. On top of that, it was controlling the frequency range of the wah, not good, i.e. changing a sweep of 180-1.9k to 30-500. I'm just a bit frustrated here. Cue an Obi Wan to come rescue me please! I haven't even tried messing with the C4 exp yet. Thanks in advance for any insight.

Holy cow, never heard this, great bass sound. It's close to the We Can Work It Out patch I posted. I was just having a Future Impact session and am getting close to it. It might be possible on C4 but the lack of filter envelope sustain might make it difficult as it sounds like the filter stays open after the decay. At first go it is a single sawtooth with very little resonance on the filter. I'll have a crack at it.

Thanks @Quatschmacher . It's a great sound. I'll check out the We Can Work It Out patch you uploaded too.

I don’t believe so, line 6 traditionally uses TS expression, not trs. In the case of the stomp, it uses trs, but the tip is for expression, and the ring is for the footswitch on a mission expression pedal made for the helix pedals. Our expression pedal is not wired that way, and will not work properly with the stomp.

We make things very generic and try to be broadly compatible. Line 6 does not have the same history. The other guys can comment more. Might be good to ask line 6 why they are not more generic! :)

There seems to be a myriad of ways an expression pedal jack can be wired and there's no specific standard. Over the years I've had three expression pedals and I've had to break out my soldering iron looks at vendor's schematics (not always available) and re-wire each one to work with what ever my current gear is. It's another reason I prefer expression over midi now...I just have to make one pedal work with my midi controller (in this case a Boss ES-5) and the espression is sent all over my board withut having to worry about compatability problems when swapping the expression pedal between stop boxes.

Micro is the best hands free solution. The dmc should run quiet as long as it’s running from an isolated power source. Is the spectrum isolated? If not, the usb connection could be creating a ground loop to the dmc.

For us, Boss is the most standard.

When downloading the latest Neuro Editor I noticed a fira
ware update for the Soleman. Mine is on 1.03 and the firmware appears to be 1.10.
When download I get a text file with a lot of numbers. Didn't look closely but it could be hex.

Is that right ? What do I do with that file ? Save it ? If so, is there a specific file name or location I need to use ?

I'm on a Mac High Sierra OS.

Oh skip that. On a Mac...
Save the file as .hex (do not allow the .txt extension) Note the location.
Open the Soleman Editor
click Select File and Update Firmware
Select the file and done.

Just in the process of porting the Okto Nøjs presets I made for C4 to Spectrum and publishing them. I've uploaded about half of them. The rest will follow soon.

I know this is soooooo 4-5 years ago, but I have a recent growing obsession with the One Series pedals. I have the Lunar and Mercury currently, Gemini and Aftershock are inbound. Not sure why it's taken me so long, but these sound incredible with my current gear (basses, rest of my board, etc.)

Do you use the lunar and mercury a lot at the same time? Just curious why you would need both plus a Gemini since they all can do the same things? I also love the one series pedals and have completely reconfigured my pedal board with them.

They can all do the same things if you program them too, right? Is that what you mean?
