Source Audio Sorcerers Society (S.A.S.S) Part 3

Bit jealous that the skinny-string guys got that and we bass players didn't. Can it be added to the Manta in a firmware update or some such?
I know.......but you fat string guys got your version about 9 months earlier AND you got 8 different types of distortion and not just one or two (depending on how you look at it). You will note the following:
SA126 - BEF
SA127 - GEF
SA143 - BEF Pro
SA144 - GEF Pro
SA223 - Manta
SA224 - Stingray

Bass guys are ALWAYS first to get new filters from SA!!

I suspect at some point we will make it available when the Hub Manager software is more out there.

Have just ordered the Guitar OFD to go with the Orbital Modulator I got this Summer.
Reckon the Manta or Multiwave Bass will be along soon, as well as Dimension reverb and then... *counts pennies*

Has anyone ever had any problems with the SB2 MWBD and the internittent loss of volume when a preset is engaged. Mines becoming too unreliable to take out to gigs. It starts crackling like an old record then the output volume disappears and it sounds like it faintly clipping. Unplugging the hothand sometimes solves the problem but not always, I've also tried it with different power supplies. It is getting on for 2 years old....is it time to replace???
Any similar experiences out there????
Thanks

What's the latest on the Reflex?

In addition to this, I have some more questions I have been pondering:
(1) What's the latest on the Reflex? (Worth repeating :D)
(2) Can someone remind me the best way to apply Velcro to the HH3 receiver? You sandpaper the bottom?
(3) Why is it that all of the various online dealers I would tend to go to for Source Audio stuff do not have the Hub?
(4) Any word on using the Hub to do a firmware swap between the guitar and bass OFD versions? (Or, perhaps the Manta/Stingray versions?)

So - Dimension Reverb tuned up today. Have had half an hour tooling about on it.
So far have managed to get lovely lush 'I'm almost Dave Gilmour' noises, a nice snapback spring effect and some frankly insane swell noises by adding some phase from the Orbital Modulator.

Epic toys - thanks Source Audio. I've not even begun to get the hang of it yet - playing with pre-delay makes a bizarre squelch or two - but it's already a great bank of effects.

OK, so my Hot Hand arrived and I connceted it to my BOSS PH3 and a Behringer pitch shifter....no response. I connected the power supply to the reciever and used a stereo(atleast I think it is) patch cable to connect the reciever to the pedals.

Am I overlooking something here?

Double check the dipswitches would be my first guess.

The little switches on the back? It said something in the guide but I doubted it at first.

Yes. Different types of expression outputs require different configurations of those switches. I think the Boss configuration is the standard one which should be the default if yours is new, but I'd check anyway.
