Don't know if I'm sold on the knobs for the Spectrum. Some gold one might be better. But the C4, yeah those go well, IMO.
I replaced mine for the same reason, it's way too easy to accidentally hit the stock knobs. I like smaller ones so it takes more effort to turn them.

Yes, although they seem to be running low on stock. I've started ordering my knobs from here now (they are only a tiny bit wider): Anodized Aluminum Knob - "The Magpie" - 1/4" Smooth Shaft (12.5mm OD)
I also did this, but I kept it to the plastic knobs. I kept buying the wrong size metal knobs and figured this was easier to match.
looks sharp!!! Also, check out @GMC ’s board build. I recently stumbled upon it on a TB search and He’s got the metal knobs on his pedals. I love that he also went about Color Coordinating the same way I did. But those metal knobs loook gooooooood.

Hi all. Just picked up a MC6 and a Neuro Hub to use with my Aftershock, Gemini and C4.
I'd like to use the MC6 to do two things:
* Handle setlist capability by calling up specific presets and pedals on a song per song basis
* Scroll through presets on all three pedals
I know that I can accomplish the first using PC messages to call up scenes from the hub. I know that I can scroll presets using PC messages specifically to each pedal. What I don't know is if I can set the MIDI channels to work with both situations. Can I?

I was trying to upload a patch earlier tonight, but when I hit the save to cloud button nothing happened. Does anyone have any suggestions to fix that?
A couple of possibles:
- Make sure you have a version 0.8.57 (although I suspect it doesn't make a difference; being on the lastest version is probably worthwhile)
- Are you trying to publish a neuro hub scene rather than a pedal preset? I can save to cloud when I'm directly attached to the pedal but not when I've selected the hub and try to save a scene. I've never been able to save a scene to the cloud and didn't think it was possible (I'd be very happy to be wrong).

Which makes sense (and which is why I've never questioned it) as the cloud presets are currently pedal specific.
It would be great however to be able to upload and share scenes as the sccene configuration is just a text file with some additional tags (opening and closing <soundblox_scene and <scene_info> tags) along multiple <neuro_preset> tags rather than just one <neuro_preset> tag for a pedal preset ... so in theory they are easy to share .. the joys of xml!
Organising it would take some thought but hopefully something might be in the pipeline for the future.

Cloud scenes is something I’ve talked to Jesse about in the past. He’s definitely aware of it and I’m sure he’ll think of something suitably cool.
Right. Yeah, I guess it's a scene. I'll experiment more tomorrow. Can it be done while connected to the pedal via hub or do I have to connect directly to the pedal?

You’ll need to use cc103/104 for the C4, the hub does not pass on PC messages. The Gemini and aftershock will not be able to do this though, they’re older designs and only have the 6 presets and no way to use midi to select them.

We have talked about saving and sharing scenes for a long time. It's complicated by the need for everyone to have the same set of pedals in the same order....
They are all very correct.
You can send CC Messages on 103 and 104 with the value being the number of the preset (remember it’s off by one so 1 on your SA pedal would be 0 to the MC6)
I basically use both the hub and pedals respectively with midi. Each SA Pedal has saved presets (the aftershock I use the hub to save presets) so I send out a CC message 104 with the value as the preset I would like to have engaged when I send the message (103 I believe calls up the preset on the pedal but it is not engaged)
Then when I know I am using multiple effects (C4, UltraWave, Aftershock, Collider and Spectrum) I’ll call up the effects that I want on and then on the hub create scene using connected pedals. And I’ll send a PC message to the hub for that.
As far as midi channels are concerned, I read somewhere that the C4 likes to be Channel 1 so I made it that. Then just assigned channels at random. I think the hub is channel 6 and my MC8 is channel 4. I don’t know for sure, but I didn’t really think it mattered.
naming the midi channels helps remember to high ones are which in the beginning, but as long as your pedal is set for that channel (via Neuro Settings/app) and the MC6 sends the right message to the right channel you should be good to go!
You could make single pedal presets on the hub and then recall those as PC messages. I’ve got a pretty good handful of Aftershock presets saved on the hub. I had a pretty difficult time getting one of the MC8’s buttons to act as the channel 2 stack so I just ended up making a 2nd preset of that pedal that I intend to stack and then changed the routing from Mono in/out to Mono Stereo Processing mono out.
So far it’s been the only way I can use the AS with midi presets to still give me the capability of the AS as advertised. Currently, I am trying to rebuild my fav presets from the AS on the UltraWave. Same concept as the AS (multi use distortion/Fuzz/OD) but with a few more features involved (multiband Distortion, EQ, Comp, Trem).
It is just a newer pedal from SA so it has the same midi functionality as say like the C4, while the Aftershock, Gemini and Mercury all are a little bit less intuitive with regards to midi. Where the one series boxes shine in my opinion, is the ability to load other compatible presets from the series.

Is it a major pain to allow for like a “…read more” in the Preset Description or a character limit so I know not to write a book describing my preset? A lot of times I’ll come across a preset that will describe what the control knobs do or what it sounds like/based on and then they get cut off before I can make sense of what they are intending.
Some users also put a YouTube link to listen to how the preset sounds but most of the time it’s cut off (you also can’t select it to copy the link so I gotta manually type it out).
