So I’m just a C4 away from being ready to revamp the board and would appreciate some routing advice.

I use a G3 Atom as my loop switcher and midi controller. It essentially gives me 7 loops (as I can use the tuner aux in/out): one pre buffers, and then a further 6 that are completely reorderable. The setup will be entirely mono with a C4, Aftershock, Atlas, Spectrum, Lunar and Collider, and I’ll have further utility from a Hub.

I’d really appreciate some advice from the hive mind as to which of these 6 pedals is likely to get the most out of having access to two separate loops. Given that one of these would have to be before my pregain and reorderable loops, my immediate thought was the C4. This would let me hit it first in my chain for tracking, but then potentially also at any other point in the chain as well for additional filtering options. I can also run any of the main 6 reorderable loops in parallel, so there’s other options there too. I don’t know how much mileage I’d get on compression at two spots in the chain but would love to know everyone’s thoughts here.

So are you able to reroute pedals from being in your main signal chain into your C4 loop? I’m wondering just how powerful this loop controller is. Morning star is out of stock. I’m thinking I might get one when they’re back.

I am. For example, one ML10X might be just my octaver straight to the output. Another is my octaver into a fuzz with both of those inserted into the C4’s loop to run through one of its filters and associated envelopes so that I get the immediate response of those pedals (no pitch tracking latency); I can route these alone or blend them with up to three oscillators.

Or say I want to use the PWM capabilities of the Future Impact’s pulse waves but want to have those running into the C4’s filters. No problem.

It’s a powerful setup.

Welcome to the family! You can download the Neuro Desktop editor and look at the off-line editor as a way to get started without the pedal in hand. There is, of course, no need to touch the editor.....but there is lots of cool stuff in there.

I just got a Spectrum, Atlas, Lunar & I have an Aftershock coming tomorrow. I plan on spending the day playing with all of them. I've only had a few hours to mess with the Spectrum & the Neuro app.

I'm already considering getting the Soleman and Neuro hub.

MIM just getting started with midi and building scenes. I have both a Soleman and a Morningstar MC8.

Saving scenes to the user online database would be monumental!! But not shure if it's achievable.

Scenes are more complicated than presets, because one person's pedal collection or pedal order is not the same as others. Also, way the Ultrawave is supported is not ideal for sharing. With that said, perhaps being able to export a scene into a PDF description might be useful?

Lots of little things for sure. Drag and drop of on the preset list. Undo button. Wider display. Folders for presets.
Then some bigger things. Preset recording. And one other HUGE thing that I will only define when we are sure we can do it.
