That's fair, and during this process I indicated that if the soleman couldn't do it then what could, still nobody is using controllers to the extent that I would like to which as a process should be the norm (according to me) but I've already spent the money if I don't get the soleman to work, it's a paper weight.

Someone above said they are working on setting up a soleman exactly as you want it. Message that dude and work on it with him then post the results back here for us to see. Your own r&d budget is on display for all to see here. People are offering to help you. That's literally free money.

Otherwise check out the shipping costs to China and I'll buy it off you to keep this thread a little more focused

I followed one of the suggestions in your other thread and, with a little more work, you can make the Soleman do what you're looking for. I'm currently setting up panels to control scrolling presets in the C4, UW, Nemesis and Ventris, which I can then save into a scene, with separate panels to toggle each pedal off and on. The functionality is there, it's just not a simple plug and play operation.

This was responded to above. It's very simple and many folks do it.

Use both Hubs on the same MIDI channel. Press both SAVE buttons when saving a scene. When you send the same PC to both Hubs at the same time on the same channel, the state of all pedals is recalled when you pressed both SAVE buttons.

As I previously mentioned the Soleman can do what you want but it takes a little extra programming to achieve. Fortunately I have all of the pedals you have so I was able to make some time to figure out a quick and dirty method to accomplish what you want.

Set the midi channel on the device you want to control through the neuro editor. In the neuro editor midi map for each pedal, set a midi CC for increment and decrement presets.

In this example I set the midi channel and CC as follows:
Ultrawave = channel 4
C4 = Channel 3
increment preset = cc11
decrement preset = cc10

In the soleman editor, select a panel and assign the switches as follows
Switch 1 - Ultrawave Preset Down (I named it UPD) = Momentary, CC, midi channel 4 (for the UW) On data 10
Switch 2 - Ultrawave Preset Up (UPU) = Momentary, CC, midi channel 4, On data 11
Switch 3 - C4 Preset Down (CPD) = Momentary, CC, midi channel 3 (for the C4) On data 10
Switch 4 - C4 Preset Down (CPU) = Momentary, CC, midi channel 3, On data 11

This will allow you to scroll up and down through the presets on the UW and C4 on the same panel. If you have the pedals connected to the PC neuro editor you will see it scroll through the presets to confirm it works. The big challenge here is that there is no visual indication on the Soleman or the pedal as to what preset the pedal is in at any given time uless connected to the neuro editor.

To change panels press both button 1&2 together to scroll down to the previous panel and 3&4 together to scroll up to the next panel.

For sure the Disaster Area products are great at this and support pretty much exactly what you want to do out of the box. I have the micro and the DMC4 and use/used them specifically for this purpose. As you have discovered, they are limited to the number of devices that they can communicate with over midi and so are not the best solution with a larger midi set up like what you have.

That's kind of the draw, for me. I have a growing fleet of SA pedals, and they ensure I won't be bored for a LONG time.

Like I said before the first time since I've had the soleman that I feel I have a working ecosystem. With that being said 8 would like to move all discussions soleman related to the thread I started about changing presets on the soleman. I know a lot of users in this thread use a variety of controllers. I would like to just focus the discussion on the soleman. How many soleman users do we have here? Would anybody be interested in expanding the discussion. I would like to discuss next possibly setting up banks meaning all phasers, all dirt, all env filters and so on, as well as discuss using macros. Thoughts?

So good to hear. I haven't got a soleman yet as I spent my budget on pedals so I'm left switching my c4 with a cuvave chocolate and using an upside down zoom exp pedal to morph between sub-presets on the ultra wave.

Good work on sticking with it and finding a way to achieve your own way of using the controller. If I manage to get the hub I'm looking at, my next purchase will be a bigger controller.

They also don't work in China on the most common proxy based VPN services most people use for their first attempt at crossing the great firewall.

On my network I have to use stealthvpn or wireguard on astrill. Their openweb setting doesn't work at all.

Currently there are 15 pedals listed on taobao, the main e-commerce site for this kind of thing, and 55 on xianyu, a quasi second hand market also run by taobao.

So not a big market but I wonder if that ratio has anything to do with people not being a le to access Neuro and missing out on the true potential of these pedals ...

I'm willing to help out if you want to test ways to get around the block. Basically there are two options. One is to partner with a local company to handle accounts and run a server here, or just change your IP addresses to something that isn't blocked. I understand that this is probably financially not worth it but if you do want to give it a go I'm happy to help with any testing from this end.

How did you get the cuvave to speak to the c4? Do you have an external host or hub? I'd love a midi controller for my C4, but don't fancy a whole midi rig for one pedal!
