Didn’t mess with it too much. Connected my C4 to the updated 3 app and surfed around a little. But I don’t even know if my C4 is up to date on firmware. It’s been a min. Every time I open the app though it always makes me want a couple other SA pedals haha. The EQ2 and the ultra wave in particular. I still think it’s amazing how a lot of the spectrum is doable on the C4. That always makes me pumped when it go on there and realize it/remember that. They killed it with that cross breeding.

Plus I have three presets on there I don’t wanna mess with/up. I’ll have to delve deeper on my weekend.

Wasn't there some kind of a mini clue months ago? Maybe even a year? If I remember correctly, one of the knobs was labelled frequency or something like that?

Doesn't look like the other picture (different knob config). OTOH, I don't know what SA pedal has a "degrade" as an upper left knob.

My guess is that's an early version of this new pedal. We have seen bits and pieces of that one for over a year now I think. If that is an early prototype of the new pedal, then it is looking like some kind of bit crusher type thing (which would match my prediction based on the cherries). Can't wait to give it a try!

I've been struggling with the latest Neuro 3 app. While it looks great, it's really laggy for me and unusable. I sent a beta note a while ago but remains the same for me. I'm wondering if it's a problem at my end??? Is it working alright for others?

No it's the same category. if they come up with a special reverb chip or anything of the ilk, it's still a reverb, so in regards to categories no, not laughable to me, so....

One thing I noticed that I found quite annoying was when I favorited a preset, it reloaded the page and restart me all the way at the top of the list. Probably a bug that needs to be fixed. But I know it was the first day of release so I took it with a grain of salt.

So is the Ultra Wave a dist or a trem at its core?? I get its a mutliband kind of thing. But what is it at its core?

I'm considering getting one.... but I'm on the fence. I have all my dist/OD needs met and am happy with them. But after looking over the app last night, seems like there are SO many possibilities with it..

I'm considering getting one.... but I'm on the fence. I have all my dist/OD needs met and am happy with them. But after looking over the app last night, seems like there are SO many possibilities with it..

I believe at its core, it is a multi band Distortion. That being said, it is also a fantastic Compressor, and so much more!

My experience as someone not living in the US is that there is never stock available on release day, and there can be quite a delay until it is available. This has been the case in UK (several releases) and Canada (Bass ZIO). Also common for stores that normally carry SA to not have the new pedal listed for preordering on release day either, which sometimes means emailing different stores to try to get an ETA, or just trying to order from a US store instead.
