No it's the same category. if they come up with a special reverb chip or anything of the ilk, it's still a reverb, so in regards to categories no, not laughable to me, so....

It's amazing that anyone would complain about Source Audio not being innovative. If anything, people complain that they aren't conservative enough with their designs. Even their traditional effects have a range of control that is rarely seen anywhere else, including multi effects and plugins. They couldn't even make a bass preamp without throwing away a traditional multi band EQ and coming up with something new.

I'm excited to see whatever this new pedal is, since even if it is something we have seen before it most likely will have multiple new spins on it.

I understood where you were going in that post where you were referring to the pedal categories themselves. I think you lost everyone when you acted like "whoopy doo. They already did everything so lets see what they can come out with next that's redundant to the market"......you didn't really say that. But that's pretty much how it came across.

Regardless, you lost the argument/opinion IMO. Take the L. Its not worth further discussion. IMO.
