Ah yes, I’d forgotten that it’s a bit useless without the relevant editor support. Sorry, it’s past my bedtime here.

Guess you’ll have to roll your own until it’s fixed.

Thanks. My factory presets were whacked anyway. The Blue bank where all VHS, so it's not setup correct from the factory. I'll wait for the fix

Are you clicking on the device drop-down menu and selecting load device backup file?

Yeah -- it does not support that abrf format that Quatsch sent. Also you cannot save a backup of the Artifakt using the old Neuro. It says something about updating the firmware. It's a different format they are using. I made a device backup of an Ultrawave (.osbf extension) and looks like different data lengths -- plus the old Neuro expect's some sort of Header up top as well. I thought about renaming the extension but I can possibly brick the artifakt by doing that. The abrf preset data for a slot is only 224 bytes while the old format is 236.

All I did was disconnect power - Hold the option footswitch down and reconnect power. Then I just release it. All presets wiped out including the factory that was partially messed up.

I did it gain using the old Neuro. There is an option for factory reset there as well and it does the same thing

Manual says hold on/off button while power cycling - option button seems to have done it.

So... I had to finally order the EQ2 and my SA pedals just keep growing. For now, I have the Soundblock 2 Multiwave Bass Distortion (I love it and will never sell it), Aftershock, C4, Spectrum, and Atlas.

And now you just dropped the Artifakt and I just have to get it because it's like the perfect pedal for my fretless playing.

My wallet hates you guys...

Guess I'm becoming part of the society as I now have a Ultrawave Beta en-route from the 'verb.

I'm guessing the steps when I get the pedal would be:
- factory reset
- firmware update
- load all the presets for the Ultrawave Bass from the editor

That would get me to the best starting point to then start my journey with pedal, right?

Firmware update sure, but you might want to browse the presets that are on the pedal just in case the previous owner made some you like.
