I have a spectrum and C4 already. Someone convince me that I need an artifakt for more filter goodness. I love envelope filters. How much more does the new pedal bring to the party?

Also, will I be keeping my spectrum if I get it?

Loads - juicy resonance, self-oscillation, full range (no 6 kHz cap), filter FM. Did you check out my clips from launch day?

Re Spectrum, that’s a question I’m asking myself too. Obviously Spectrum has a lot of other tricks up its sleeve with envelope shapes, multiple filters, stereo routing, octave, phaser, etc, but for me Artifakt does the straight-up juicy squelchy envelope filter better.

Pardon me for what is probably a dumb question,...but,... can I control an Eventide H9 via the Hub? My new board is going to be just a Berg Super Pre, an SA C4 and the H9. I would think so since it has both midi and usb midi capability, but figured I'd get a better answer here than just guessing. Oh , and apologies for detracting from the new Nuero and Artifakt discussion ! ;)

I got mine today, I’ll post a review and clips in a few hours. One of my main reasons for getting it was the filter and possibly replacing my old BEF-Pro

No, the control ports are for source audio products only, you could run the midi out of the hub to the h9

Keep in mind that you will need a MIDI controller of some sort. The Hub is not a MIDI controller.

Substituting the main selector with sensible options will take me a while yet I think. However, as soon as Neuro is fixed, I’ll upload a few standard bass presets.

It’s a pretty awesome pedal, isn’t it?
