I do believe you need to send a PC to the Hub directly prior to saving the scene, to tell the Hub which slot to go to. The Hub is reactive, not proactive, it's not going to be able to read back which program your MIDI controller boots up on.

With regard to not seeing changes, do all 3 of your connected pedals give a brief flash of their small Control LEDs when you tap the Scan button on the Hub?
Hej
HUB was connected to the PC when I tried. I can edit all 3 pedals through the Scenes at the App and can hear the live changes. For some reason when I try to use the MIDI controller it just doesn't seem to work properly

Where is the Hub in your MIDI chain? If it's not first in line after the MIDi controller, try that, I know it likes being first in the MIDI signal path sometimes.

I can't believe I haven't joined, yet! Let me find my hat before I walk in.

I have an EQ2 and Gemini with several others on my To Buy List. Here's a recent photo of the EQ2 in action. This was before I set it up for that bass. Ignore the stuff in the corner. That's from whoever was living here before.. 😅

Hi everybody
Some connection question
Found a used C4 sold with a Disaster DMC micro. So USB to midi problem is solved
I saw a video about using input 2 to connect with téléphone or tab with USB C adapter to handle NEURO presets . Stereo or mono jack ?
Point for me is to use the Midi host connection to change presets and the second connection to be able to modify presets in the Neuro hub without switching câbles.
Advices ?
Thanx

After getting my HXStomp my Aftershock became pretty obsolete but now I kinda want it back. At today's used prices I was wondering if the LA Lady can run my old Aftershock presets. I know some pedals have cross compatibility like that...
Yes, the LA Lady, Kingmaker, and Aftershock can all use each others' presets. The only difference is that the LA Lady doesn't have a clean blend control on the surface, but you can re-program one of the Bass/Treble knobs if you'd like.

Just curious…why do you want the Aftershock back? I love that pedal as well.
The HX's drives and synths for the most part are okish, which was good enough for the projects that I was involved in at the time. BUT something came up where I need more flexibility with those types of effects. PS never got rid of my c4 and will likely be buried with it...

Midiot question for the group:

What's the best controller to use with my C4 and Spectrum if all I want to do is have access to all of the 128 presets that are available on the pedals. Morningstar MC4? MC6? Other?

Thanks!
I've been happy with the Disaster Area DMC.micro. I use it along with a Neuro Hub to control scenes including 5 SA pedals.

I use an M-Vave Chocolate and SA-168 adapters. Works fine. You could also do it via usb-midi.

You'd only be able to access all 128 on one of them, though. Either that or you'd have to program the buttons to step up/down through each preset one at a time, but you wouldn't have any visualization of which preset number you're on.

That said, I have less than 8 midi scenes, so I haven't had a need to access all 128 presets on demand.

I dont have the artifakt YET, so I wanna know if this setup will work. Ive used the hotone control to send pc messages to the c4. Can the thru go direct into the artifakt so it can get pc messages as well or will I need another box. Also will the expression work for both pedals in this way. Im trying to avoid the hub...
