Additionally, SA is probably the most musician friendly (and just plain friendly) company I have dealt with so far. (Loop-Master and Wampler are up there too, but they don't pander to the bass as much)

The OFD Bass Micro-modeler is next. It is getting close. Bass synth work continues on as well. As noted, it is a big project.
The USB Hot Hand is less interesting to this group, but it is also close to shipping.
The MIDI EXP is also in the process of coming back better than it was way back when.
MIDI support for the SB2 is also being worked on.
Thanks for all the nice comments. Bass players have been very good partners in the Source Audio journey!

Roots and fifths and a little extra.
I just wanted to throw a quick shout out to Roger and all of Source Audio and their customer service. They are the absolute best of any company I've dealt with for a while. I had a problem with my multiwave distortion and within about two hours from the first PM sent to Roger here, everything was take care of. Thank you.
Although bass synth is defenitlly on my wishlist, right now I'm more looking forward for the SB2 MIDI support since I use MIDI to control all my rig and that is putting SB2 pedals out of my path so far.
Any chance of heaving MIDI THRU on the SB2? That would really help keeping my rig simple.

Kurotenshi makes a very important point. Being able to mix other, non SA, midi gear in the midi chain is definately needed.
It's cool to hear I'm not so alone on the midi rig stuff.

Sorry for all the questions but how about SBPro Dimension Reverb? Any plans for that?
No you are not, individual pedals are, to me, better that multi fx units but I really do not feel confortable in having thousands of euros in equipment on the floor were so many nasty stuff can happen, thus my cheap Behringer FCB1010 take all the bad treatment (nothing to harsh up until now thankfully) while me SA stuff is in the back with the amp.
Also, MIDI puts a lot of control power right under my feet and an the distance of a tap using the iPad.
FCB1010 here too. But I'll be moving to ipad/midi designer with Ik blueboard once it's realeased. The midi on the SA Pro pedals is what got me into midi in the first place. Protecting gear is one reason, but switching 3 pedals in an instant is my main reason for midi control.
As for new Pro pedals I don't think that will happen. Once you get a SB2 in your hands you will understand why. And a midi interface should be coming soon, which for me was the hold-back for SB2 pedals (was). With that opens all kinds if doors with Midi Designer on the ipad/iphone which will open more preset options. OR a master control type controller?? Who knows?
Well, I guess you are right, if one has a MIDI controller that can send a lot of info at the same time, the internal presets are less important.
I am actually thinking on using the MIDI Designer to do that os getting the FCB-LG from Gordius but that won't give me a screen.
Speaking of SB2, as a bass player how you'll you compare the Dimension Reverb with, for instance, the TC Flashback X4?
Not sure why you would want to compare those two? The TC is a delay pedal and the Dimension Reverb is a reverb pedal...
It's true, you wouldn't necessarly need a screen for live use. With the FCB1010 even, you can send CC's to the sB2 pedals and change the parameters. We don't know all the parameters that will have CC's but imagine if you could CC the FX selector? Then you could have 12 presets. You could also send other CC's at the same time to adjust other parameters.
Smallequestrian is correct, those are 2 totally different pedals. I do not have a Dimension Reverb but I do have a Flashback (not x4). But I can tell you that the Flashback X4 is only Omin midi channel which was a real disappointment for me. I love my Flashback, but hate changing the settings live, so I got a M5. And have you seen a X4 in person? They are freakin huge. This is kind of my point with the SB2 pedals, they are crazy small. I realize that you rack your gear and size is not a factor, but I'm in-between. I have a hybrid pedal/rack and going mobile size does matter. So I will use my usual creativeness to get the SB2 pedals to do what I need them to do one way or the other. Midi obviously helps.

thanks Kurotenshi, great video. If I'm reading the RST manual correctly and from what I saw when he switched the expression pedal to the Programmable Eq, the expression pedal can be routed to different pedals (per preset), like a midi expressionator, which is BIG to me. So imaging routing a HH3 to different pedals. Cool.
I also liked his comments on signal routing. I've wondered about that and I trust his judgement call there, but his work around may be similar to what I was thinking, notice the M5 at beginning and another M5 at the end of the chain? Sometimes complex problems have simple solutions

For my playing, the LFO portion of the BEF Pro is what gets used most frequently. 4 of the 6 presets are LFO shapes paired with your expression pedal for modulating LFO speed. As you work toward the SB2 model, it would be wonderful to have the option to do static filter sweeps with an expression source. I would be particularly excited to use the GadgetJunkie setup with my HH3 on the neck of my bass to control the sweeps. I'm sure you get overwhelmed with requests, but I figured I would offer my two cents.
That's one of the things I've been bothering Jesse about, though he asked for examples and I'm afraid I've never gotten around to doing that. If you have any great examples it would be nice to send them to him.
