yah. things to check (sorry if these sound simple, i've goofed hard by ignoring the basic steps) are the knob on the side of the SA for the throw length and the patches length of throw per parameter.

the really cool thing about the H9 is you can see where each range is set on each "knob"/value. and watch everything that you have mapped to change values as you heel to toe.

the H9 app is pretty much perfect.

The Hub is really the right way to address this issue. Keep in mind that the 1/8 cable is a TRRS, not TRS. We did this because this single small port must be used for MIDI, EXP, Hot Hand and USB. I know it would be nice to have a dedicated 1/4 TRS, but that would really be limiting for all that our customers ask that we support! Hub does open lots of other nice options.

sorry, this really doesn't address the midi clock or standard expression pedals, but something fun for people into midi is that with the hub, the SB2 pedals not only can be controlled by a Hot Hand/Expression pedals....but all the parameters are mapped to CC values. Now I've been focused on the 'frequency' parameter, but just realized the distortion type is a parameter on the Manta, plus LFO and mix. With midi you can control more than 1 at a time.

When using the HUB, #1 is no problem. I am checking on #2.

Don't forget the Multiwave Distortion! I agree, they are great pedals. I have the DR and OM, can't wait to add an OFD and possibly swap my BEF Pro for a Manta. My board is mostly SA stuff right now, I just need to figure out how to use the pedals to their full potential, with expression, midi, etc. Any of you sourcerers out there use one expression pedal for multiple SA sb2 pedals, using an expressionator or something of the sort?

Hey Super Hans, we have you covered! The SA Expression Pedal has a sensor output which you can daisy chain to all SA pedals. Soon you can add in the Source Audio Hub, which will allow all of your SB2 pedals to talk to each other and to MIDI. This document will open to door on your future of controlling SA pedals:

yep, the SA pedals let you program the presets to have the expression pedal on each pedal on/off and the pedals do know the difference from Hot Hand/expression pedals and midi control inputs. So an expressionator is not needed.

As soon as Long and McQuade decide that we have arrived, we will be in their stores. You should tell the store manager that they are missing out on the fun! You can tell them that Jam/Korg is our Canadian Distributor.

I also had to do this living in calgary. I sent jam/korg an e-mail and they responded pretty quickly. I sent a note of what I wanted to buy and they arranged through a local store to get me several source audio pedals at pretty much cost.

I wanted to try them before I bought them but that wasn't possible. The money I saved was worth taking the chance, and I love everything I bought. Someday I hope to fully explore them to their depth, but for now they sound great even when I haven't taken enough time to fully experiment with them.

I just added another source audio pedal to my arsenal today. it's basically the OFD's big brother with more features. i'm really diggin' this one:

I had one briefly and returned it almost immediately. The bass OFD is much more optimized for bass. Yeah, the clean blend and octave lower EQ options were nice, but i didn't think the algorithms themselves sounded very good on bass. I had one of the very first bass OFD prototypes and it was pretty clear that it was superior to the classic pro even in its early stages. Each additional firmware update only made it better.

I'm glad you're liking it, but In general I wouldn't recommend anybody buy the classic Pro over the OFD.
