One more for the collection, I got me a hot hand 3 last Friday, on Saturday it was the star of the night.
I believe he's no longer working for/with SA (and that the split was amicable).
So, I just received a Mantra and see it comes with a wall wart... can I powered with my Pedal Power II+?

Will wanted to live in LA and seek a life of bliss under the palm trees. Why he wanted to leave our lovely snow storms, I will never know! He will be back with us at NAMM for some fun

Manta takes around 120ma. You should be fine. If you plug in the Hot Hand receiver to the Manta, you might need more juice. The worst that can happen is a bit of noise. Keep the SA supply around in case you need it in the future. Otherwise, you are ready to go!!!

The Nathan video is great, but Will really explainded the functions. I know he is no longer with SA....but I can still want a 'Will' video and asking for it publically might make him think about doing one for old-times-sake. Hopefully Jon will explain stuff in a similar way.

It might all work fine without any help (usually does), but keep in mind that our pedals use bit more juice than a simple analog pedal and when you plug in a Hot Hand receiver it will need even more. When the juice demand gets too much, no damage will happen.....it will just get a bit more noisy. I have made many pedal boards where this is not an issue, but I have made literally 1 or 2 where this is an issue. Using our isolated supply always removes any noise.

Do you have a number for the power requirement of a typical SB2 (the Manta specifically) with HH3 receiver attached? It is <250 mA?
I asked before but no response, Is line level noise increase expected when using the HH3 receiver powered by a SB2 pedal?
Also, how much do replacement hot hand rings cost? Talking about the rubber part. I've got a feeling I might accidentally break it one night because I'm a klutz and I love to have backups of things

Got a BEF Pro last week and it is SWEET! It's kicked 3 pedals off my board: Psilocybe, MXR BEF and Nano Bassballs.
I've been running some of my SB2 pedals from the 250mA drops available on the Voodoo Pedal Power 2+ without any issue. I haven't personally tried running them from the 100mA drops, though you could get one of their special current doubler cables and run it from two 100mA drops (boosts to 200mA).

I haven't broken any yet. But you could use duct tape, zip ties, some string, etc. in a pinch to tie it to your finger.

We do sell the entire ring replacement on our web site. It is $59.
I'm thinking some sort of surgical augmentation to implant the transmitter directly into my hand would be best. Otherwise I'll lose it like everything else I have that's smaller than a postage stamp. I go through Micro SD cards like necco wafers.

Hopefully this is the place to ask, has anyone compared the IE polytope to the orbital modulator?? I know the orbital has more sounds in it but what the polytope does is GREAT, I'm just curious if anyone has compared. Thanks!
