Source Audio Sourcerers Society (S.A.S.S.) Pt 2

Trusting the TB Brethren and hoping the Manta is more than just TB hype.
Sold a filter to fund the Manta.
Putting in the order tomorrow.

I have plenty of filters, but the built in drive is what's really turning me on to this.
I really just hope I can thwart off the HH3 gas that I have a feeling will follow the Manta.

If you want to be on the safe side, you might want to try doing a RK for RT+cash. I love the RK because I keep one setting as high gain, one as low gain. Not sure I will use it much for low gain anymore with the OFD. So, one distortion would be enough. However, I like that pedal and it still fits on my board :)

Get the Rat Tail w/ 2nd Distortion Mod. Amazin stuffs.

Pairing any OFD effect with a Rat Tail is even more amazing.

My RatKing sits right before the OFD. that part of my chain is Fuzzrocious Demon > Grey Stache > RK > OFD > Manta > Orbital. Then I have a loop of ODs that can be set eitehr parallel, before, or after that loop.

Got the SA Hub today, updated all the firmwares, only the hub and one of the pedals were not up to date. Connected it all up with the One Control Gecko and, well, it works!! It is truly awesome. I am running out of space on the board even after removing the B3 because I need to make space for the dual expression pedal I will soon receive, but I think I can manage by putting the hub on the top side of the PT-Pro, I ca still reach the buttons that way.

I will post a pick of it tomorrow if I have time, just been a crazy week at work. I was waiting to get the dual expression pedal before updating my pics and stuff :)

Cool, take your time. Just want to drool over you setup a little is all. I have an OFD incoming!! Can't wait till it gets here. I do have a question about and I'm sure someone could answer it. How's the output/volume on the OFD? I know with the manta and OM, they don't have their own volume knob so to speak. Does the volume knob on the OFD perform well, as in can it get pretty loud like any other regular output level on a single dist stomp box? I'm always stoked when I have a new pedal coming but this one is up there. Dirt pedals always excite me in a different way than most other pedals :)

Just got my Hub, woo. The box is cool, and there's everything you need and nothing you don't inside. Note about the firmware and user guide, nice power supply, USB cable (impressed with that), three cables and the Hub. Perfect.

It's a cool little unit and I look forward to getting to know it. Thanks, guys!

If you have a pedal train for your board, then I would think about getting the pedal prop for expression pedals, volume pedals, and wahs. http://www.pedalprops.com

I was considering adding a Hot Hand 3 so I headed off to the SA website.

Saw the special offer for the wireless HH3 + Filter Wah.
Put the package in the cart and took a look at what else was available and discovered that the Hub was shipping the next day. Placed that in the cart as well.
Went back and added a pair of SA160 daisy chain cables.

Complete order arrived on Tuesday, extremely well packed, and the fun began.

Midi Mouse is scheduled to arrive today so I put the Hub on the back burner to explore the HH3 and Filter Wah.
Tuesday evening and all of Wednesday were lost due to exploration and amazement. And then I daisy chained all of my SA pedals and the adventure started all over again.

Who cares about the Polar Vortex and snow. I'm in the middle of a Source Audio Vortex... and I have yet to investigate the Hub.

Thank you All at Source Audio for taking your time to help me fulfill audio dreams and wishes.
