Happy to contribute. Off the top of my head I see modulating the bands in opposing directions in alternating bands, or in an increasing amount (depth) as the freq bands increase, in a low-retain function. My application would be elec. cello, make of that what you will.

So far the videos have been a huge help for me. The only request I would have is maybe a few more videos showing the possibilities that users can tap into using the expression pedal and mixing multiple pedals together.

Thanks to one of Will's videos showing some of the sounds you can get with the BEF and MWBD combination, I ended up repurchasing the MWBD, Soundblox 2 version this time. I have been chasing some of the Deep Impact synth tones and this combination has been awesome. I now have the BEF Pro and MWBD 2. I've been debating on the Dimension Reverb, but am still on the fence.

Great job on the products and videos!

For some years now i am chasing the classic Roland TB-303 sound for bass guitar. You know, that little silverbox that spawned Acidhouse music. With the BEF, a little Delay and the Markbass Super Synth i can come close.

But since you guys are the innovators maybe this would be something for you. Something that lets me get 303 acid type bass sounds out of a pedal. I can imagine this being absolutely crazy with EXP Pedal and Hot Hand. Should go together rather well.

EDIT: another question (sorry if bugging already): Is the Reverb Pedal (that new green one) capable of doing regular delay sounds? (with Echo setting maybe?)

So...sometimes when I engage my MWBD 2 for the first time or so there is an audible clicking sound that comes through my cab. Is this something that I should be worried about? I switched tuners, TU-2 to a Polytone Mini, but nothing else has changed. Would this make a difference?

I had a couple quick questions regarding the HH3 that I couldn't find in the thread...
From what I found, the HH3 can operate on 3 axis' but the Pro series will only accept 2, is this correct? Also, the set up that I am planning is using the sensor out to a BEF Pro (waiting to buy it and the HH3 at same time :hyper:) and using the expression out to my Deluxe Memory Boy. Will the same movements control both pedals (when active)? Or, will one axis control the BEF and another axis control the Memory Boy. And finally, will the HH3 receiver ship with the wireless ring or only the receiver? I don't have the ring yet and I can't find where to buy only the wireless ring (without the old gray wireless receiver) Hope I'm explaining myself clearly. Thanks for your time!

The HH3 can send a two axis signal via the sensor cable and a one axis signal via expression cable. Any external pedal that is connected via expression will receive only the one axis signal.

The pro series pedals are capable of receiving all three axes if you connect both the sensor and expression cables, however you must select one axis of "hot hand control " at a time via the sensor in.

The package for Hh3 includes both the ring and receiver.

Aloha Will!

So I just got the SA BEF and wireless HH last week... been a real blast, and nobody I know on my island has seen one before, so they're trippin.

Got one problem though: The HH ring comes loose and slips off with even a small amount of hand sweat. What are the chances of maybe making them with a cloth/velcro enclosure?

Thank you so much! You guys are great!

That's a problem we haven't quite heard before! There are a couple of ways to MacGyver through that one...

Try putting a dab of glue on the band passed where it is inserted into the slip. That will create a nice little stopper that will counter hand sweat.

Also, try putting some first-aid tape or something absorbant on the bottom of the ring and on the band to see if that keeps it from getting to slippery.

Out of curiosity...where in Hawaii are you?

Dunno if you guys have all the slots filled on the dedicated modulation pedal yet or not-- but if not-- I'd like to humbly suggest one of them be some kind of static detune like found on the IE Polytope or Tech 21 Bass Boost Chorus. Or better yet, when whatever knobs control the rate and depth are turned all the way down, they go completely out for the detune on the chorus and maybe a static combfilter (think EHX stereo electric mistress) effect on the flanger...

...Pretty please? :hiding:

While we're on the subject, will it be able to hold the usual amount of presets for a SA pedal, or will there be more- I ask because modulation lends itself to using more sounds tha one typically does with other types of effects.

Source Audio guys, i sincerely hope that you will one day make a bass whammy, but SA Style. Right now we have two choices: buy a used Digitech Bass Whammy for ~400$ at least or get that Eventide thing that is a) huge and b) expensive as hell.

These two pedals, both expensive and not easy to come by, and a few multieffect pedals are the only ones capable to do that 5th up/octave up thing with an expression pedal. I'd love to see this (and as always a ******** of other features) as one of your pedals. Something to bend pitches is still missing in your product range anyways. ;) please make it bass compatible.

EDIT: an please add the Dimension Reverb to my #63. It just hit my desk yay!
