Dimension Reverb snippet. Thanks itswac, it does pretty much exactly what i want it to. Could i input an exact 300ms delay time over midi?

Apart from that delay thing... the pedal sounds awesome with a bass guitar and spiced up my bass intros so much. I expected it to cause mud, but with a bit knob fiddling it just doesn't. Kudos.

sloppy, but you get the idea.

I like the clip! Well done!

You would be able to send a MIDI signal to the delay time on the Reverb but it's up to the program or controller you use to make that signal a precise match to 300ms. The Reverb will only receive the MIDI data for the knob position. Does that makes sense?

EDIT: The Chid tells me that my answer here is incorrect. We would need to provide a list of delay times associated with each MIDI value number for you to peg down precisely 300 ms. More to come on this.

Just got this in...I'll be messing with the expression out into some of my peds to see which I like best controlled by the HH3. The next few days will be interesting:

Soooo....

I got a chance to play with this thing last night for about 20 minutes.

Honestly, the new receiver base station is a thing of beauty - wonderfully designed and lightweight. I can mount this on my board without worry of accidentally kicking the top of the receiver like the previous design (which I never did with the old one, but the possibility of it was always there). The new low-profile gives me a few possibilities of where I can place this on my board. Also, THANK YOU for providing a right angle 1/8" sensor cable....it really makes it easier (for me!) to fit this into my existing setup.

The 1/8" sensor out performs just like its predecessor....I was doing my wobble-thang with both the BEF Pro and Multiwave Bass Distortion Pro. Very nice!!

I tested the 1/4" expression output into only 3 pedals so far - v.1 Randy's Revenge, WMD Geiger Counter, and the Behringer BSY600 Bass Synth. It was pretty cool manipulating the frequency of the RR or crushing the hell out of the signal with the Hot Hand 3 - it definitely lets you think differently about how you can manipulate the signal with the ring rather than a standard expression pedal. It was REALLY fun with the Behringer Bass Synth - just nasty wob-wob-wob BUT.....it was introducing some noise into my signal. I'm chalking it up to the cheap Behringer circuit design, since I didn't hear any noise with the other two pedals.

I should have a chance tonight to test it with an IE Xerograph Deluxe, the CoPilot Orbit (ooof), and the Eventide Timefactor and Modfactor - should be fun.

One last thing - for optimal placement on MY board, it would help me if the power supply had a right angle connector. My search on the interwebs has revealed extension cables that have right angle power plugs - I'm just not sure what size I need (since this is smaller that the standard 2.1 mm plug size). Will, can you let me know what size I need?

Ok sign me up for this Source Audio club thingy!

I've got the Bass Envelope Filter Pro, the Multiwave Bass Distortion Pro, and the new Hot Hand 3! =) Fantastic stuff.

Just one question for all of you, how many of you put the BEF *before* the MBD and how many of you put the BEF *after* the MBD?

Right now I am putting the envelope filter first because I feel like maybe it gets hit with wider dynamics that way and I get more filtery goodness. But I would love to know what the general concensus is on here about the proper order of these two? Also, what order does Source Audio recommend for these two? What order are these placed in on all the cool YouTube videos out there for dubstep, etc.?

Let me know, thanks!

I'd say that if you're going for a synthy sound it'd be better to put the distortion before the filter because that adds more frequencies to the signal which you then filter out to get those sounds.

but, you should still try it out both ways and others in your setup if you're unsure.

annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd just ordered my HH3. it's listed as a SA115 on Amazon. that's the same one right? looks identical.

escited to have it permanently mounted on my board. kinda hate the og receiver. looking forwarrrrrrrrrd to this.

So, Source dudes, what size is the power connector for the Hot Hand 3? I'd like to try to get this sussed out so I can permanently place the receiver on my board....

Oh, and can my #25 be updated with the HH3?

Behnd, it's slightly smaller than the standard 2.1 mm size, understandable when you see how small the receiver is. I THINK it's 1.7 mm, just looking for a verification.

That said, I found this extension with a right angle:

If it's the right size, I'll order one up.

BTW, your board in the Mono case in the other thread is just the sweetness!!
